Republicans Try Having It Both Ways Too

Anyone seen any recent youtube videos or article or house floor speeches denouncing them?

Yes

Paul is the only good congressman.

Just smear

"Read carefully. I didn’t say that Ron Paul is in favor of Obama’s military tribunals. I said that Ron Paul is not speaking out against them. That’s the truth. He’s not. The most you could find is a two year-old statement."
- article's author

So what the author is saying is, Congressmen must be passionate about every issue under the sun and rehash the same arguments they've already presented, every time there is a new person in the office of President...just so they can appear to be non-partisan to foolish people like the author who don't understand real principle.

I'm willing to bet if the author really cared, he would send an e-mail to Ron Paul, and ask him to make a statement on the issue. And I'm also willing to bet that Ron Paul would comply. But it's just easier to try to paint someone with an (R) in front of their name in a bad light than it is to actually try to find the truth.

That's fantastic!

Even liberal democrats now recognize Ron Paul as THE authoritative defender of constitutional values irrespective of political party. When the blogger was blasted for incorrectly characterizing RP as supporting military tribunals (despite the fact that RP's spoken out about against them, written articles opposing them, etc.) he corrects himself and claims he only wanted Ron Paul to speak out about it more. Liberal democrats now realize the power of the freedom revolution (and its leader) to bring attention to issues of right and wrong.

So I think this link is fantastic. Liberal democrats are beginning to find they've got more in common with RP and the freedom lovers than they do with the establishment democrats! That's awesome. When liberal bloggers appeal to Ron Paul to support the constitutional validity of their opinions that means we're winning hearts and minds.

yes

I think they think he's being passive about it though.

Good

Good. They admit RP's the definitive source of constitutional values and they're pining for more of his attention. They need to get on line and take a number. Right now the focus is on auditing the fed. RP's stance against military kangaroo courts, or "tribunals" or whatever, is well known and they even admit it.

I have

read a lot lately about positions that RP supposedly has that I have never heard of. I would like to see the proof.

Could you get more vague
