I refuse to particiapate in the recession, I don't want a bailout

Here is our new commercial that will start airing tomorrow. I wrote the script for it, but I can't speak fast enough to say it all in 30 seconds. The fellow that produced it for us had to leave out "the federal reserves" recession, due to time, but he got in a jab at the bailouts. Also he got a good view of my sign and "end the fed". I had a scene with the Gadsden Flag in it, but it had to get cut to squeeze it all in. (after all the main purpose is to get customers for the store, it is just an added benefit to protest the government and the FED.

Refuse to Participate?

I am curious. I have heard this phrase used several times in the last month or so (mostly in connection with David Ramsey's financial advise), but what does it mean exactly that you "refuse to participate in the recession"? Is this really a choice? What happens if you are laid off from work, or in the case of this poster, what happens if no one comes to buy anything.

It seems to me that this financial collapse is not an optional thing. We cannot simply ignore it and move on. The wealth lost, the collapse of the currency, and the huge debt being placed upon the people of this nation are very real and present dangers. Rather than ignoring the crisis, should we not embrace the truth of it and prepare to make our way through the coming storm?

The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.

If I am misunderstanding this statement, please explain it to me.

to me it means, I will provide for myself and family

food, shelter, and clothing. I will barter, accept real money (gold & silver), grow my own food, raise my own animals, build my own items, process my own needs as much as I am able. And as much as I can avoid interaction with the FED as much as possible.

Then we are very much in

Then we are very much in agreement. :-)

Another thing I am going to refuse to participate in

Is the "Survey of business Owners" census. I got that in the mail yesterday, the whole 6 pages of questions all have the same answer: NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Of course not answering is punishable by a $10,000 fine, and get this the fine for falsifying information on the "confidential" survey is $10,000 also.

I tried to find a copy online to link to, but they don't have it on the site. After I got that and read through it, it further enforced my resolve to "not participate" not only in the recession (by doing all the things I listed above), but to also try my damnedest to not do a dang thing that involves the federal government. (that is hard since they have their nose in everything)
