Exactly the kind of
Exactly the kind of interviews and attention needed. We need to reach those on the left and let our man show them the way to liberty.
Ron Paul always
seems to receive much more respect from the liberal media than the conservatives. It's amazing that the republican party doesn't see the power of his message and the possibilities it has to create an incredible alliance of voters on the left and right.
I've noticed that too
But who gives a rats ass that the republican party doesn't see the possibilities of this? I sure don't. I don't want to help the party of people like greaseball teenagers like Lyndsey Graham.
But we, as liberty fans, should. We could start running candidates on the Democrat tickets instead of the GOP ticket to take advantage of this...
Good idea in theory, but...
The Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) is a libertarian caucus operating through the GOP that was once chaired by Ron Paul before he resigned to run for Congress the second time in the mid-1990s. As you point out, establish Republicans often try to dismiss or block us, but there is also a lot of support at the grass roots level and the RLC is prospering in several states, including Florida where I live. We have elected many candidates and the greatest success of the strategy is Ron himself.
We tried the same strategy with the Democratic Freedom Caucus (DFC) also in the 1990s. This did not work at all. The trouble is that even at the grass roots level there is no constituency for less government in the Democratic party. We may have open and tolerant Democratic *friends,* but these words rarely describe Democratic *activists.* Try running a libertarian outreach booth at a Dem convention and see what I mean. Sadly, it doesn't work.
In Florida, see www.rlcfl.org
Nationally, see www.rlc.org
yep. Let's run as blue dog
yep. Let's run as blue dog democrats.
I pledge, do you?
Actually the states don't have a right to legalize marijuana
That's because they never possessed the right to make it illegal in the first place!

"It never ceases to amaze me that some people actually believe enjoying guns is a personal choice, but enjoying marijuana is not." - Scott Morgan
And the Ferral Government never had the Constitutional right
to make it illegal without amending the Constitution.
Great interview , thanks.
"Since 1789 the only government on Earth that has the power to crush the American people`s liberties across the board is the government of the United States"
Robert Higgs
It's really heartening to hear the amount
of respect Ron Paul receives from thinking people on all sides.
great interview, thanks
