You should all watch the entire thing on Youtube, about 10 minutes. This Brian Kilmeade guy is an utter nicompoop, and Jesse Ventura is awesome. This guy has got balls and doesn't give a shit about being popular.

Since he's an Independent--he should start running now.

I think if he educated himself on libertarianism he could go Libertarian and that would give him some advantage. He is incorrect in his presumption that the Libertarian Party is 'anarchist'. That only describes one wing of the movement--libertarianism is a big tent. Jesse certainly seems as genuinely Libertarian as Bob "Patriot Act" Barr.

His running mate could be Penn Jillette. Imagine two giant-sized loud men on the podium, telling it like it is.

Penn and Ventura telling it like it is? They may be right on most issues, but they are almost complete opposite of Ron Paul on the illegal immigration issue. Penn in an interview made it sound like Ron Paul was totally wrong on the illegal immigration issue and that Ron Paul was racist. Ventura seems to think anyone who is opposed to illegal immigration fears/hates "brown people". Thats telling it like it is? I don't think so. Ron Paul is right, they are wrong. I'll take Ron Paul over either of those two fools anyday.

I disagree with Ventura on Immigration, too.

And I consider Ron Paul the better choice; if we go into the voting booth in November and Ron Paul is on the official ballot, I will, of course vote for him.

That's a huge 'if', however. Odds are he won't be on the ballot, just like he wasn't on the ballot last Fall.

He was confrontational on a topic that should be confronted with outrage. It is appalling and disgusting that torture is defended by pampered neo-con journalists who never served in uniform, or worked a day in their lives getting their fingernails dirty. These people should be confronted, and often, especially on this indefensible subject.

I thought everything he said was 'right on'. There's no question he could use some polish, but what he said was refreshing, and if Kilmeade had gotten the upper hand, he wouldn't have risen from his chair and walked off the set in the middle of the interview.

I don't know if we need the lamb of god right now or the Balrog that Gandalf fights in LOTR.

Ron Paul can teach deeper truths that folks like Jesse can latch onto and run with.

I think it would be a mistake to vote for Jesse over Ron Paul -- but if RP doesn't run and there's no one else of note -- then I'd vote for Jesse.

Jesse is the F*** You Vote 2012

Personally the whole approach the RP Nation is taking -- waiting for the right leader is illogical.

We need to be thinking in terms of some form of Agorism -- counter-economics - consumer-union - tax revolt.

It will come to that once the RP community makes an 8 years attempt to win the white house and things are changing fast enough.

We abdicate "something" so they have power -- what is it?

They use leverage (over us): Wage and Property
We are not Conscious-Consumers

That's it -- that's where we lose it.
