"Jeremy Scahill (author of Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army) reports the Obama administration is continuing to use a notorious military police unit at Guantanamo that regularly brutalizes unarmed prisoners, including gang-beating them, breaking their bones, gouging their eyes and dousing them with chemicals. This force, officially known as the Immediate Reaction Force, has been labeled the “Extreme Repression Force” by Guantanamo prisoners, and human rights lawyers call their actions illegal."

You'd think these people would get
tired of being tricked by their trusted liberal politicians. After being surprised to discover they'd wrecked the economy, surprised they forked over millions to bankers and Wall Street, surprised they expanded the wars, surprised they were complicit in the torture policies, surprised Obama is reneging on his campaign policies,etc. etc.
I am definitely tired at the left's blind trust in government, their weaseling slowness to face their errors, and their refusal to give freedom/peace a chance.
I'm starting to think Obama is ALL about the
Press Releases.
He "announced" he would close Gitmo & everybody went great!
& in reality he hasn't changed a thing.
The US should either charge the detainees or let them go.
Then use Gitmo to detain and waterboard the Bush and Obama national security teams.

It's ironic, the only people that would want a democracy are those that want to tear down America beginning at the foundations, yet these are the people covering the high crimes in America that are a result of trying to democratize everything and not enforcing the Republic and rule of law.

No surprise here. Obama was lauded for saying he was going to close Gitmo. Big deal. That's one we already know about. Let's see him identify even one of the many we DON'T know about and close that.
