New Fundraising Appeal 11/27/07

As you know there was a new fundraising letter sent out today.
I won't print the whole thing, except for the one important part:

"The donations that you make now allow us to continue our current level of intense media in these states uninterrupted."

Please donate as soon as you can. Thanks.

"Who is Jonatahn Blydak?"

or......."Google Jonathan Bydlak", to paraphrase a popular Ron Paul campaign poster.

Well.....I DID.

My research indicates that Mr. Bydlak is a 24 year old, 2005 graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Economics. His senior thesis was "So You Want To Be A Rock Star? An Application of the Superstar Hypothesis to the Popular Music Market". Upon graduation he wen to work for a Wall Street hedge fund. He quit in August to join the Ron Paul campaign as a Campaign fund manager.

NOT a personal attack. BUT....is this person IN ANY WAY more qualified that you or I, or you, or you, or YOU! to determine the direction and spending of campaign funds raised?

QUESTION EVERYTHING!!!!!

"People you've got to take the lead, or you shall be lead....ASTRAY." - Ben Harper

TEA PARTY07 !!!!!

"Luctor et Emergo" - Struggle and Emerge

I'm sure...

...that Jonathan doesn't make these decisions on his own. What goes out in the email is a consensus. So please stop trashing him. Remember, Ron is the first candidate to have the real time updates on the fundraising and this is getting a lot of buzz in the technology world and the talking heads were just commenting about it last night. Blaming one person for something you don't like (taking away attention from your fundraiser) is about as shallow and simple headed as blaming W for everything including the California wildfires..d'uh.

Maybe, maybe not

Not many are "qualified" at all.
That is, if you look at our resumes.
If you look at our hearts, we all probably are qualified.

We're grassroots. And a lot of us, including me are rookies at campaigning.
When we are done, when we win, we'll all be more qualified.

Let's win.

Did you donate 10 bucks? :)

Ron is doing money fine and is looking forward to Dec 16th

Please folks - I humbly request we keep a focus on Dec 16th... EVEN TODAY if you look at the videos posted around, Ron Paul states he is money rich right now and also looking foreward to Dec 16th... do we DARE let him down!
Nobody is going to look at Nov 30th (in my humble opinion) but boy did they rave even today about Nov 5th... so lets stay on track to make another media event.
I know people want Nov 30th to be a media event, but I sincerely doubt it will, if anything it will be spun into "Ron Paul expected another day" and it failed.
Also Dec 16th would be SUPER MEDIA ATTENTION right before the NH primaries.... please give it all to Ron Paul Dec 16th...

p.s. One person said he *was* going to donate $300 on Dec 16th but decided he could give $100 on Nov 30 and then $200 on Dec 16th... what if everyone is of a like mind about this - the effect of Dec 16th is reduced by 1/3....
Ron does not need the money now per his OWN WORDS ON THE FOLLOWING VIDEO:

Even ten bucks helps!

Don't be discouraged if you can't give $100 on a specific day. Even ten dollars will help if thousands (or more) of us do it!

I've already given all the hundred dollar donations I can afford, but I'll be giving 10 or 25 on each of these days.

PLEASE don't think that because you can't give $100 that you can't help restore freedom and liberty to our country!

...let it not be said that we did nothing.

Due to the media coverage,

Due to the media coverage, If Dec 16th is not Huge, it will hurt Ron's and his supporters credibility. For all those who are donating--- Be wise with your money. If you have some to give now, feel free I'm sure it can only help. But we can't let Ron down on the 16th. If giving NOW effects the 16th, then YOU should use YOUR best judgement.

Give to the revolution!

An excellent letter...much better use of words!

We can meet this challenge...

I fully expect to hit $12 million by Dec 1st and double it before the end of the year! We have the opportunity to give Dr. Paul a big soap box to speak from!!!

Please encourage everyone to buy into this revolution!

Stratagy

The problem perhaps with our decentalized efforts is that we sometimes work agaist ourselves.

Paul needs money now. A mini boom on Friday as suggested is a good idea, because they need pay for ads.

The only draw back is how much does it take away from the teaparty effort. The point of the TeaParty in my mind is FREE media time. We just lump our money all at once make news and then he gets free time.

It would be good to know how much money the campaign wants right away. We could then set some goal and watch the amount, saving the rest for Dec 16th.

The reading list suggests 12 million. OK assume people can contribute 9 million on the TeaParty day, and that we appeal to shift 3 to Nov 30th then we get 6 Million on Dec 16th and 12 million by the end of Nov.

Would that still make the news as much as 9 Million. I just don't know. I wish I knew the number of subscribers to the amount raised on Nov 5th. I'm sure there are people out there like me who just don't like extra email.

Does anyone know the subscriber/number of donations ratio? Perhaps we could then estimate the amount for the days.

Seems that data is

Seems that data is available. Looks like tea party is on track to get between 6-7 million for Paul.

Meanwhile the reading list is on track to get about 0.5 million if the multipliers hold. I am less certain that the reading list will have the same ratio as the Nov 5th then the Tea Party.

So if I were RP's manager I would expect at least 4.5 million by the end of the year (actual subscribers weighed by an average of 125 dollars each + 50K per day), this would be conservative.

Best case I'd guess at 10 million more. (100 per day plus 0.5 Million Friday, 6.5 Million Dec 16th).

I'd love to see it higher than that, but those are my guesses.
