PA Congressmen can't get past partisan politics

Searching through congressmen who have not yet sponsored HR1207 I was struck by the firm line between the two parties. For some reason pennsylvania democrats have not signed onto a bill that benefits all Americans, not just one party. HR1207, the Federal Reserve transparency act, is meant to open the books of the Federal Reserve to better understand where the trillions of dollars printed have been lost. Congressmen, Senators and even the Comptroller General of the Federal Reserve admit they have no idea where the money printed by the Federal Reserve has been spent. The officers of the Federal Reserve, both past and present, admit they don't have to answer where they spend any of the money they have spent.

The Federal Reserve is a private corporation that prints our money and yet the government has never had control or information about the Federal Reserve's finances. This is starkly different from the control they have over personal information about every individual with a social security number. The government knows everything about their citizens, but for some reason has a blindspot for the moneychangers who control the money supply. Now a bill has the potential to expose where our money has been spent and yet no pennsylvania Democrat has sponsored the bill. Currently there are 175 bipartisan, nationwide cosponsors and 8, all republican, from pennsylvania.

Stalling a bill that helps all Americans does not bode well for the Pennsylvania Democrats. In the depressed economy more Americans are feeling the need to change something, and a vote is something free everyone can do. Hiding under the shadow of Barack Obama might be slimmer then what they wager. Democrats tout their social responsibility, but they fail on sponsoring a bill that gives everyone a right to know about the Federal Reserve's finances. Is it not the best social responsibility to give every american information about the source of their money?
