Tennessee Speeders Could Get Fingerprinted

Motorists stopped for traffic violations in Tennessee could be fingerprinted if state lawmakers approve a bill pending in the legislature.

Currently, when drivers are cited during traffic stops, police officers ask for the driver's signature on the ticket, but the proposed bill would allow police departments to eliminate signatures and collect fingerprints.

Supporters say collecting fingerprints would save money and help police determine whether the driver is wanted for a criminal offense, but opponents worry that it allows the government to tread on individual privacy rights.

Who needs rights if you can save money? That's what it's always about, right - saving money. No one ever bothers to wonder about the source of the "money." The Fed has got us all on the same hamster wheel, asking the wrong questions.

Thanks Vicki for the link.

This is a Full frontal assault by the NWO

they say there is no database but that's BS.
"Supporters say collecting fingerprints would save money and help police determine whether the driver is wanted for a criminal offense"
how would their little digital thumb scanners know that info if it weren't linked to a city/state or local DHS fusion center computer database?

mayday mayday mayday mayday the united states has been seized by the NWO!

how long before you have to thumb scan to get on a city bus or the light rail system? how long before kids have to thumb scan to get into and out of school. how long before you have to thumbs scan to enter a public facility like a library or a park? bells and whistles won't go off but the LEO will be notified to come get you because of a warrant that was issued for a parking ticket your kid got when he borrowed the car or remember the girl with the overdue library book that was arrested.

mayday mayday mayday mayday
this is it!

how long before the thumb scan is linked into you medical records? the police need to know this info you know, they would not want to taser a heart transplant patient right? that's what pepper spray and mace are for. tasers are for the asthma patients and more youthful offenders aka "superpredators".

mayday mayday mayday mayday

how long before i have to thumb scan to get money from the ATM or gas from the gas station or food from the grocery store or pharmaceuticals refilled? how long before they integrate all this with RFID tracking technology and GPS tracking and license plate scanning-tracking technology that has already been announced and is now in use? how long before this is all linked up to satellites that use face scan technology to track us and scan our biometrical walking pattens to track us?

how long before i must Iris scan and SUBMIT blood and saliva when i get pulled over, how long?

mayday mayday mayday mayday mayday mayday mayday mayday

Are the people of Tennessee

Are the people of Tennessee crazy enough to allow this to pass?

...

We'll see:

But I sure hope they fight like mad to stop it. This could expand, and no one wants that.

violation of rights under color of law is a felony...

anyone who had properly reserved and claimed their constitutional rights would have grounds for a federal lawsuit (after having the pseudo-criminal charge thrown out of court) pursuant to Title 18 Part 1 Ch 13 Sec 242 of the United States Code, and on 3 seperate claims: officer violated your rights under color of law (the dismissed ticket is the evidence), officer violated his oath of office and officer declared an emergency when there was none (when he put his lights on to pull you over, this of course assumes you are not guilty of any cime where there is a damaged party, in that case what the officer is doing is legit and would be covered under the immunity clause)...

"The Constitution of these United States is the supreme law of the land. Any law that is repugnant to the Constitution is null and void of law." Marbury v. Madison, 5 US 137

and

"No state shall convert a liberty into a privilege, license it, and attach a fee to it." Murdock v. Penn., 319 US 105:

"If the state converts a liberty into a privilege, the citizen can engage in that right with total impunity." Shuttlesworth v. Birmingham, 373 US 262:

know your rights, and how to defend them, and they are powerless...

Do what?!!

From article Lt. Hellman says: "I think they saw that it wasn't that big of deal, and that the ones who were most worried about it were likely the ones who were doing something wrong," Hellmann said. "What they didn't understand was that a routine traffic stop on the street is an arrest, technically even if you aren't taken into physical custody, and during an arrest, you are fingerprinted."

Do what?!! This is untrue!

This stinks of something:

I am wondering what "company" is going to be pushing the equipment for this, and how many lobbiest they have. (Like the traffic cameras)
I could see this happening in the lousy state I'm in now, MD. and have been looking to move to TN. and may now have to look elsewhere. I thought they had more gumption there than to allow this. I hope the people raise allot of hell about this one.
Oh they have no plans to save a data base. Yea, right. We won't use it for anything else. Where have we heard that before? Once you lose something to them, you can never retrieve it.

I know all about this bill

It flew through the TN house and the senate was supposed to vote on it Wed. the 20th. I called the my rep. LT. Gov. Ron Ramsey (who's number I now have on speed dial) the lady told me she had received multiple calls about this bill. A few hours later it was deferred until next Thurs. the 28th. I am trying my best.

Thomas Jefferson once said, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground."

Well, I guess he called that one.

If a cop wants my fingerprints, it will have to arrest me and

take me to jail. That won't save money. Trading fingerprints for signatures as a way to save money? That's lame and probably inaccurate.
