Do you remember the stencils and the spray paint?
Do you remember?
The first time you noticed LOVE spelled backwards in R3VOLution.
The stencils and the spray paint and the fabric paint.

The blimp.
Your first Ron Paul bumper sticker.
Bulk-pricing blank DVD's.
That Giuliani got caught on the same ferry back from Mackinac Island as 200 Ron Paul supporters.
Walking in the street with our children at our feet.
Watching RonPaulGraphs.com at all hours during the money bombs.
Sign bombs.
That feeling when it seemed like nobody was listening, but you knew they would listen when the news came on.
Sign waves.
Hannity belly-aching about Ron Paul winning the post-debate polling.
The tom-foolery of your local and state Republican Party officials.
Turning the TV on when you found out on The Daily Paul that Ron Paul was about to be on.
How cold it was during precinct-walking season.
11,000 people chanting "End the Fed" across the river from the Republican National Convention.
C-Span cutting off Aimee Allen for a FEMA press conference.
That there were patriots keeping the message of liberty alive long before most of us heard of Ron Paul.

My letter to the editors
“We the People” of Dallas County
Take a look around this country today. Do you think it resembles the kind of country that the founding fathers aimed to establish? We have land confiscation to be sold to corporations; imprisonment without charges; torture; pre-emptive war under false pretenses; the Federal Reserve’s inflation; IRS domestic terrorism; rampant runaway deficit spending financed by China; and a dollar that is continuing a freefall in value. We have loss of sovereignty through GATT, NAFTA, CAFTA, the UN. Soon to loose our guns under CIFTA. We have a major movement to establish a North American Union to integrate the US with Mexico and Canada. We have the government taxing you and I to pay for the welfare of illegal aliens. Meanwhile the government wants to force you to get a National ID Card so that the law enforcement can Gestapo you for your “papers” at a whim. We abolished slavery over a hundred years ago, and now the government wants two years (or more) mandatory service from our children. Also, currently making its way through Congress, is legislation that will outlaw growing your own food and make it punishable by the confiscation of your land.
Only one person can stop our runaway government and undo what has been done. That person is you. Quit complaining at home, in the beauty shop, and at the local coffee shops. Thomas Jefferson once said, “The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.” Ignoring government doesn’t work, in the long run you must get involved. Take action now. “change you can believe in”, can only come from you. Join, We the People. Sign up at www.givemeliberty.org
THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION FOR EVERYONE IN MISSOURI
We have a new state coordinator, and a workable plan to ‘take back’ our government within the next two or three election cycles. We need county coordinators. Many of you did this during, Ron Paul’s, campaign. Many spent all they could. We the People have a way of giving financial support to our coordinators. For more information contact:

I had the chance to talk to Ron Paul and asked him if he was going to run again. He said it was to early to tell. That means
maybe!!!He didn't say no!
Even If He Doesn't Run...
...I still have a supply of a dozen different slim jims. Plus issue papers and tee shirts. I drop literature bombs on non suspecting McCain*Palin supporters. My favorite sticker is: McCain*Palin comparison to Ron Paul! The Revolution Continues till the end of time!

It is posts like these that are so important
first off because it is reenergizing and unifies, secondly it shows new people to the movement how much work was done previously, and hopefully inspiring some of them to bring new energy. It is also great to give new people ideas via comments that show what was done. This is one case where we all need to hope history repeats itself over and over again. This is a great post for morale for us weary soldiers, thank you so much for posting this, and I will bump it often. I hope everyone else will bump it often also.

I remember Copperhead films
and one other media firm interviewing my homeschooled daughter, she had me laughing so hard (for sheer joy that she articulated her thoughts ) I almost fell over. The Tea Party and Nov 5 money bombs were fun., The Values Voter debate (and all the great Ron Paul Supporters we met there.) and the party afterward were great memories: The VV debate was a great disappointment, Ron Paul was brilliant in the debate). Walking to stores just to tell some more people about Ron Paul, and actually having a few listen.

Two years
It's only been a little over two years. Are you going all nostalgic on us already? I tell you, nostalgia just isn't what it used to be.
Okay, I'll share one of my biggest whoops. I had quite a few, but here's one. Early on, I called the campaign office and gave the fellow who answered an idea: signs that said only, "Google Ron Paul." I explained the rationale, and suggested that he spread the words (all three of them). He thought it over and decided it was a good idea. That's all it took. A few months later, I was watching videos of a great big whomping blimp with "Google Ron Paul" on one side of it. I wanted to brag, but I kept mum about it until long after the primaries were over.
I first saw you on YouTube b4 dp
and I was a fan then and still am. I enjoyed your pep talks because you were so calm by comparison to the frenzy, for example.. one of the best Meet up vids IMO was Nashville, Elvis... and then the unraveling of that meetup... man it was crazy times, and when you thought, this is a rEVOLution for lunatics.. you came up with another thought provoking, kind and inspirational message. It was great. THANKS. I owed you that.

In 1976 I lived in Fort Bend County , Texas in the 22nd district
Ron Paul was my Rep. Now I live in Calhoun County , in the 14th district of Texas ,Ron Paul Is my Rep. I live in the mist of a bunch of wonderful libertry loving people that keep the 'Truth Sayer" in congress.
I remember all of it and wish you all had the same representation that we here enjoy!
"Since 1789 the only government on Earth that has the power to crush the American people`s liberties across the board is the government of the United States"
Robert Higgs
The Lesson from 2007 is this...
Only 3 states matter.
Iowa
New Hampshire
South Carolina
After the republicans from those 3 states choose a winner, the Republican SHEEPLE nationwide simply follow behind.
So the lesson that I learned was that ALL OUR TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY for 2012 needs to go into those 3 States. Win those states and your own state Republican Sheeple party will all fall in line.
Thats the lesson.
Now who is our man or woman for 2012?
In Peace & Liberty,
Treg
Thats funny.
I still have my 9' Ron Paul Revolution stencil in my bedroom. Someday I wanna do an art show about the revolution. I have enough home-made stencils, signs, videos and Ron Paul paraphernalia to make a really cool art show.

Oh man, too many amazing R3volution memories to remember...
But I'll definitely never forget the Iowa Straw Poll, Operation Live Free or Die, the march in DC, or the Rally for the Republic. I like reading about people who have learned some lessons since they joined the movement. I too feel like I have polished my activism skills and I think we really have potential in 2010. Kokesh for Congress! Rand for Senate! RJ Harris for Congress! Let's keep the R3volution alive...

I forgot about the call for Paul
it was amazing to me that every caller was willing to listen, I did not have one bad time with one caller, not a single one.

It was after hours at the Call for Paul Center
~
in Los Angeles.
I photo documented our supporters spray painting youtube Ron Paul and rEVOLution banners to hang over freeway overpasses...
.... had to be at least a hundred stencilled signs ... covering two sides of one whole floor of a fancy Wilshire Blvd. parking structure!
Thing of beauty.
Thanks for this post...

Oh those were the days....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S34W-rg8jHY
I climbed a billboard in downtown Tuscaloosa Alabama
In broad daylight in front of everybody on "the strip" in August 07 to hang a massive Ron Paul banner I spray painted w/ stencil. That was just the start as we covered the whole town and OWNED the straw poll the next day by over 80%. The locals (neo cons) were not amused. Come October we did it again in Birmingham AL straw poll. I can claim at least 200 banners me and Austin Wilkes made happen.
Joe Scarbrough was actually in town that weekend because his son goes to UA and saw what we did and reported on it and gave Dr Ron an eight minute interview on morning joe because of it. All of this is on youtube.(maybe if they have not censored it) I remember thinking he (joe) is on our side! Boy was I wrong. Big time sellout.
Wearing my hoodie right now
The peace sign with Ron Paul for president, hoodie sweat... I've got some of that EVOL red paint on it too.
Remember when Hannity was escorted to his studio? I still get a deep chuckle out if that. Boy was he walking fast.
And remember MSM reporting (lol) that our poll votes didn't count because we were on the computer and didn't have land lines because everyone was young, and we found out many of us were not so young and the majority had land lines?

I remember walking through snow up to my knees
while walking my precinct handing out slim jims door to door. I remember putting signs at highway exit ramps at 12am and barely being able to hammer them in the frozen ground. I remember buying Ron Pauls book and giving one of them to each of the checkout people at Borders. The blimp was the first thing I donated to, and then I could not stop my self from spending every penny I could on Ron Paul. I sent out about 300000 ads in those coupon mailers you get at your house, and hoping it would make him get 300,000 votes in Ohio, only to see the areas I sent them to, got about 1,000 total votes, of which were induced by me I will never know. I loved every minute of it, I loved watching all you crazies hitting the bridges with huge signs. The Freedom March was awesome too, it was my first time ever to D.C. and I was so sad to see such a city with all the memorials built on lies. I hope we get that energy again before it is too late. Great post, thank you for all you have done.

Ah yes, i do remember
Ah yes, i do remember indeed. I became a wide eyed ron paul NUT for a while!!! I had to learn to not be so pushy with others with my views on liberty as it did more driving folks away than it did bringing people towards the philosophy of liberty. That saying about honey attracting more flies than vinegar really is pretty accurate. Im heartened to see more and more people waking up to the fact Ron Paul was so right on so many things.
