National Election Day Do Over

With the growing acknowledgment of Obama's broken campaign promises and fast track course to fascism, such as the indefinite detention plans, the citizens of this country need to stand together and draw a line in the sand.

The tea parties have been a good way to get the average person off of their couches. They were painted in a very partisan light however.

Now, even the people who supported Obama are waking up. The change is not what they wanted or thought they were promised. Even his supporters are beginning to realize we are headed for a nation even Orwell did not dream of.

While I feel that protests and rallies alone will not suffice, I do believe they have their place. So I would like to propose something here on the Daily Paul.

"National Election Day Do Over" protests and rallies to be held in November. That assumes of course we'll still be able to freely assemble by then.

I, for one, would love to contrast the difference in the freedoms our founders gave us vs the limited freedoms we had one year ago vs the unabashed destruction of those remaining liberties in just a year. The destruction of our economy by bankers would be another.

They could be used to highlight the continued destruction of our country and constitution by those we elect to defend them. We need to shine a spotlight on local and national politicians who simply treat us like cattle to milk tax money from to fatten themselves.

Instead of focusing on nebulous ideas about taxes as the tea parties did, which I understand and know need to be addressed, these would point directly to the ones making the decisions that are destroying the country.

This could be more important than the tea parties. By pointing the finger directly at the culprits, we could put direct pressure on legislators to stop the destruction of our country, and maybe even reverse their course and restore our freedoms they've stolen.

This could even help create a national environment where people want to vote for liberty candidates the next time around.

What do the rest of you think? We have time to make this happen.

I'll probably organize one myself even if I'm the only place in the country doing it.
