Colloidal Silver: Silver Sheets,Rods or Wire??

0 votes

What has been your experience making colloidal silver? I'd like to know what is the most efficient silver to buy for making colloidal silver....

So far I've seen people suggest rods, wire, and bars....then I saw someone suggested purchasing silver sheets and cutting into strips.

What say y'all?

I used two 99.9% silver 1-oz. ingots

Here's my design:

I use an insulated jar full of distilled water, spike it with a little of the last batch and heat it to almost boiling in the microwave to get the electrolysis happening quicker.

New Hampshire and Ecuador

K, ingots?

I really need to study up on my silver words! :)
So I put "ingots" in my ixquick and up pops a site that has silver in a lot of different mediums. http://www.americanelements.com/ag.html

I'm guessing when I said "bars" I really meant ingots huh?

Thanks for the pics McClarinJ....I see you adore the hot glue gun as I do. I've solved many of life's problems with a hot glue gun! :)

I usually buy mine from a local store, though (10 and 30 ppm).

Thanks OldHickory

That's a good link.

I hadn't thought of this: "It is the ideal food preservative because it is also good for you. An example of using it to help preserve food is to put about ¼ teaspoon in a quart when canning."

Wow

I didn't see that about preserving foods.... This stuff really is great.

I found a simple one to make oneself,

using an old ac transformer (for some unknown or known no longer usable one). then you just cut off the end, leaving the two wires, and attach tiny alligator clips to it, that you buy at Radio Shack, et al. You can use either coins, that have been folded over with a tool, or wires, or whatever. It sounds really easy. I will try and find the instructions on the net.

I have been using rods which came with my generator

which I have now been using for 5 years and there is plenty of it left.
I bought a second generator (same model) and got 2 spare sets of rods which I guess will last me for at least 10-15 years.

I got a Silverpuppy.

Rods are what I was thinking would last the longest

But really I'm clueless. Thanks for the info Hannah. SilverPuppy does have the rods...
