Will North Korea be the war to strenthen our economy ?

Im sure most of you might not be aware that I am a U S Naval veteran having served abourd an aircraft carrier and then served in the researves for a number of years afterwardsI,I only mention this because I have had some experiance with working for Uncle Sam and practicing wargames in South Korea..Ive been to South Korea twice and Im familar with Soul and severral other cities of which names Ive forgotten how to pronounce.Soul is a beutiful city .and its one of the cleanest cities .Ive ever seen . The veiw is breathtaking as well as the nightlife and resturants..Soul only sits about 10 miles from the 49th parellall.. And over the border lies 4.5 million of the most fantical ,brainwashed suicidal homocidal gooks you could ever imagine. They would make AL Quedia look like a cub scout troop..I am not BSing you on this one except I realized that the US Army and their Korean counterpart really downplayed this every year by giving the allies a victory nearly ever year except once. Once when the allies captured a North Korean sub with fishing net there were 8 NKs who commited suicide and two who killed themselves with knives while fighting .the enemy.None were taken alive..Every single North Korean is a soldier. And they are very well armed having their own factories for guns, , missles and mines...The runways for the migs that they fly are carved into the mountain sides and would be very hard to find. And one of their main strategies would be to fly thousands of special forces soldiers on fifeteen man hangliders.acroos the border and cause total caos in the civiallian popullation . What I am getting at folks if you havnt figured out by now is if war was to breakout it would be a very bloody horrific battle that would go on for years with thousands of US and South Korean soldiers as well as civilians that woulld die on a DAILY basis.I also understand that we hold as much debt on our treasury with Soth Korea and Japan as we do with China. Could the banksters be licking their chops at another war ready to break out.. This is really a very serious situation, if the North Koreans are really serious.we know our banksters are and would probalbly do anything to get us back in a war..To get our debt paid..

Nope

They have nothing to offer us. No opium, oil, gold, or cocaine. They definately do not seem to geopolitically desirable either.

North Korean leaders may

North Korean leaders may believe they have more to fear from South Korea and the US. North-South Korean tensions have heightened as President Lee emphasizes the need for military preparedness and North Korea calls him a "traitor"

War can never ever

War can never ever strengthen the economy- it can only damage it. Taking resources out of the economy to make tanks, fighter planes, train soldiers is a drain. Sure defense companies get a boost- but at the cost of every other industry that has to pay for it. The purpose of war is also to destroy, not to create- if you kill people and destroy their property- now you have much less people to trade with in the world- so that's another negative.

War has always been bad for every economy since the beginning of time- if you could go without war you should at all times. Its unfortunate that somehow people are duped into believing that war is a good thing- its so silly.

Wars only can strengthen a economy

that has a manufacturing base, is a long conventional war and the country is NOT in serious DEBT. A war now will not help the economy but further destroy it.

The US does not have a manufacturing base any longer. We could bomb them with service and hamburgers I guess and kill them slowly with heart disease.

But, no... this won't be a "war". They will pop a nuke, we will hit them with some tactical nuclear strikes and it will be over in a few days.

Not quite

In your example, a war would only strengthen the special interests (ie. the manufacturing companies involved in munitions, military vehicles, etc).

It hurts the rest of the people.

Just As Unlikely As Korean War #2 Was in 2006...

"South Korean and U.S. troops raised their alert Thursday to the highest level since 2006" Was there war in 2006? No

"North Korea has announced it was abandoning the armistice several times before - most recently in 2003 and 2006." Was there war in 2003? No.

" In 1994 The North Koreans have stated that they would consider the imposition of sanctions to be equivalent to a declaration of war." Was there war in 1994? No

The fall of the USSR in 1991 resulted in a devastating drop in aid to North Korea... and "increasing parsimony of his ally China" .....gave rise to this international blackmail that we have seen since 93'.......

"North Korea became the largest recipient of US aid in Asia." Food, fuel and nuclear energy technology and hardware.....Saber rattling is beneficial to North Korea - Actual war would be devastating.

The North Korean threat to America - even with a nuclear device - is mythical - South Korea can handle itself.

I agree

the ROK army (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Korea_Army) corprals made the Ranger BN guys I know look like soft little girls, they may not have the technology, but they are TOUGH SOB's.

I worked with an ex ROK army guy that came to the US and enlisted in our army, he was the most badass person I've ever met in life.

Don't let your pride and ego blind you to the fact that these are very capable soldiers and should not just be brushed off.

Also for those offended by what I said did you ever call a Nazi a kraut. or the or the north viet-cong "Charlie" or an I Iragi" hogie"Its just a term used for the enemy Im sure there are no North Koreans on this site to be offended..

Wars Do Not Strengthen An Economy

Contrary to popular belief, going to war does not help an economy.

When a nation is in a depression, millions out of work, going to war does not help an economy. What happens is that politicians use the war to justify borrowing from the bankers. This money creates the illusion of wealth. But debt is not wealth.

If you are destitute and someone loans you $25,000, you can buy a new suit, maybe a car, and a meal in a fine restaurant. You may feel well off, but the truth is, you own $25,000.

The money borrowed by governments by the politicians is used to purchase guns, bombs, airplanes and tanks. These are destroyed in combat, along with thousands of lives. There is no wealth produced. While servicemen are earning money as are defense workers, this money is borrowed. And there are no consumer goods to purchase.

The beneficiaries of war are those who supply the war materiel. These people used to be called "war profiteers". Today, we call them corporate donors to the campaigns of our politicians.

Absolutely right, it strenghtens the...

bank accounts of those involved in financing the war.

War = negative ROI

It is beyond ridiculous to even consider that war may be decent for any economy.

War = utter destruction and utter waste of resources.

Yes, war may lead to an uptick in totally imperfect measures such as GDP, but the government spending a trillion bucks to hire people to dig holes and refill them would also show a boost to GDP. GDP is a STUPID measure that would only be moderately valuable without government spending included.

Balance my sheets

Modern warfare no longer provides a positive cash flow.. Those days are over..
you-no

No...

Here is the scenario per Remote Viewers who saw this over 6 months ago.

N.K will pop a nuke in aggression. Probably at South Korea.

America will respond with a limited tactical strike. Probably nuclear but small.

That will be all she wrote for NK. There will be NO conventional war.

Get ready , it's going to be a wild ride this Summer. Economically, Politically, Militarily.

In Nov / Dec there will be a earthquake just outside of Carson City NV. AND THEN.....You wouldn't believe it anyway..

Event predictions don't work

Seen too many of them come and go....

I would believe it.. please

I would believe it.. please tell me where you are getting this info.. I would love to read about it.. send me an email please..

Ed Dames...

very interesting...but apparently a claim that he knew exactly where Steve Fossett was to be found was way off. But some of the outlooks that I am seeing are things that I have thought about and have been somewhat preparing for. Especially the ones in this article...

But of course I'm not holding my breath after the great disappointment of last fall when the aliens didn't come save us all.... LMAO!!!

my take on the problem..

The heading is a very normal heading, and is a very valid question and scenario. Could NK be seen as our economic turnaround by the elite..sure it could be.

It goes awry with the suicidal kill-em all gook talk. It is hard to have a discussion about going to war with North Korea when you can feel the hatred in the wording.

I suggest a good dose of Full Metal Jacket to get it out of your system.

being in the Navy

Ive delt with a few Marines . And I have to say I would take 1 South Korean Marine over !0 US Marines anytime .Why ? because US Marines start their training at 18 e far to old .Theve already become a bucnh of spoiled brats. The South Korean Marine starts far more intense training at an earlier age because the realize what they are up against.

Wow...showing your true style now

first off I was 17 years old when I enlisted..not that it matters, Secondly I'm sure that if your shitty attitude was the same then as now most of the Marines would have let you keep your SK buddies. You are obviously one of the navy squid pukes that got pissed off when your ship ran out of candy bars and donuts. I'm sure the Navy and those Naval men and women around you are proud of your teenage thought and grammar levels.

Oh that's harsh Lance....

I started at 17 and I like being spoiled by eating C Rats, while sleeping in a muddy, stinky jungle, scared to death, not knowing whether a Cong or a snake was going to kill me, while my Navy brethren slept easy on their cruise ship. You are right about the Korean Marines. They are good. I feel confident that they can "defend themselves" and leave us out of it.....

There is just a hand full of countries...

who do not use the dollar as their reserve currency.. Hmmm....let's see.....Iran, Venezuela, ahhh..North Korea. Could it be that they are being singled out for war because they don't want to play the global "fiat game?" I don't know how the U.S. is going to pay for it? I also think it would be "one war too many" for the people......Oh, and I'm a hippie too.....

You can add me

to da list of hippies:)

first off to all the hippies who responded to my article

I never advocated invading North Korea as a matter of fact far from it.Quite simply if major war ever broke out in the penesuila it would be a war that we probalbly could never win..And if we did invade the North.or the Nrorth invaded South "I dont think we would be sittn around drinkn tea with them."When I played war games my assignment would have been to drive into NK on a truck and pass out blankets and food to the civiluan population. This mission as far as Im concerned would have been suicidal I have nothing against asian people and I have very good friends who are South Koreans..But any South Korean will tell you the NK s have a different mindset .And that mindset is either victory or death..Also my point also is that we only have 30,000 troops defending the peninula far to few to go to a war with the North. My job also was to make an assessment if I really thought we could win in the North and then report why or why not to my superior officers. I was quite suprised that the higher the rank the the more the officers sounded like the hippies on this site..Stating that everything would be just fine once war breaks out the North Koreans would be our friends and turn on the North Korean Govt. This comming from people who would be know where near the front if war were to break out .

Hey numbscull.
