RJ's going up against a well-funded neocon in Oklahoma's 4th district. This guy, Tom Cole, is a big government, big spending Republican. Let's show our support for a Ron Paul type conservative next Friday.
Let's give RJ his first big money bomb. We got Rand 25k for his exploratory committee the other day, let's get RJ 25k. He's an official candidate is taking on the GOP machine in OK.

If every one of your supporters donated a dollar you would have about $26 dollars. Tom Cole will likely raise half a million more than that. "
^^ This is the type of neo-con trash that RJ has to deal with. Let's prove this a-hole wrong and money bomb the crap out of RJ!

One hundred hours, five hundred hours. It certainly seems to be time well spent.
I wonder how they got permission to use the overture from "Backdraft".
I watched the movie two nights ago, and it certainly sounds like the movie theme.

give your money to someone who is actually announced...
Rand Paul doesn't need the money to run. If he wants to run, which it looks like he will, then he doesn't need the money. You should give your donations to RJ Harris, Kokesh, and other 912 candiates and members of retakecongress.com. One Senator is nothing compared to a coalition of candidates fully funded by the grassroots. This Rand Paul obsession is beginning to look like the Obama obsession.

I would tell you how I feel about the war in Iraq but there is no war in Iraq…at least not one that has been declared by our Congress…as is required by the Constitution for the President to send anyone there but the Navy and Marines and only then for the DEFENSE of the lives/property of Americans. The presence of the US Army and its component State Militias in Iraq, or anywhere else outside the United States, is a direct violation of the Constitution, sans the aforementioned declaration, yet 535 legislators and 2 presidents seem to think that is “OK.” So, either a war needs to be declared (ex post facto) against the Government of Saddam Hussein (only governments not behaviors or inanimate objects can have declarations of war laid against them) or we need to charge and arrest every: 1. legislator who voted to pay for it and 2. both presidents who executed it with high crimes against the United States.
Conventionally speaking, a declared war against a government proven to be harboring actual terrorists, as was the case in Afghanistan, would be a very good reason for Congress to declare war…but they did not. I fully understand Ron Paul’s articulation of the theory of “blow-back” and that propagation of an unconstitutional empire creates these problems in the first place. However, when our country is attacked the way it was a decisive response is required. Unfortunately, our leaders failed to follow the law in their execution of our response to the Taliban attack on 9-11thereby setting horrible precedent for future actions and leaders. The United States seems to win/finish the wars that it declares…and lose the ones it doesn’t. I wonder if that is because when we declare war we are committed to victory as a body. When the war is not declared,…no one is committed and no one feels responsible…except that they are. (they being Congress and the President)
The Federal Reserve holds power given only to the Congress of the United States by the Constitution of the United States. The Congressmen and Presidents that voted/signed the action handing that power over to the Fed into law should be tried (posthumously) for treason. We here in the present need to go way beyond “auditing” the Federal Reserve…we need to shut it down, as did the great Andrew Jackson once before, once and for always.
I know that these answers were not full of the innuendo and double speak we are used to from our politicians, yet I hope they were satisfactory nonetheless:)

I think more military people should donate to you also, because you wouldn't send them into harms way without reason. I will look for an address to mail a check because I don't like using the credit card any more it helps the banksters.

Collective Responsibility marches on, eh RJ? Seems like we'll never win undeclared wars because those are the ones that are most profitable for the servicers. Perhaps that's why Eisenhower raised a red flag about the MIC after noticing what was going on in Korea.
As for the Fed, remember that Congress voluntarily surrendered its power and the Executive dropped its Constitutional responsibility in creating the Fed. What can one do now that its firmly fixed to the USC? Personally I'm still convinced the best way to defang the Fed is to force the Treasury to resume many of its responsibilities it gladly handed over to the fed in 1971. It wouldn't solve many problems of course, but it would make it harder for the Fed to do more damage.
Anyway, best of luck in 2010!

Yes, we need to get the message out that giving $100 to Rand Paul because, well he is Rand freaking Paul, isn't good enough. We should be dividing that $100 into 10 $10 donations to ten different candidates across the country (including rand). If we truly want to win this fight we need to get behind, support, and fund candidates across the board. We shouldn't fall victim to just giving it all to one person or another because they are the most popular. If we become like the latter are we really any different than the majority who votes based on character and popularity? I think not...
