I was so happy to hear that this is the direction that the Liberty PAC will be moving in the next cycle. I think Ron Paul is showing his political intelligence in not challenging incumbent Republicans. Like this post says that would only make the races more competitive in the Republican primaries and therefore cost more money.
Dr. Paul and Jesse Benton are selling it like they are reaching out to the GOP leadership, which may be true to some extent, but this will allow them to be competitive in more races...bottom line. And that is what this is all about, getting bodies in Congress.
I think this is the most exciting news in a while and gives this movement another purpose on top of all of the great things we have accomplished recently...aka HR 1207 etc.

This is awesome. Politics

This is awesome. Politics is all about building relationships -- with strong relationships you can more easily persuade people to listen and understand our ideas.

We can't just throw rocks at windows, we have to get a seat at the table.

I'm very impressed by Jesse Benton's leadership and talent. He has an objective approach that works. Great job Jesse, Ron and everyone at the Liberty PAC and C4L.

The 10?

Kokesh, Harris?, Rand Paul, Lonegan, Schiff hopefully. Anymore Congressional or Governor candidates he endorsed yet?

I think they need to be very selective and find a few Republican congressional districts where the Republican is weak and draft a supporter of his.

Or the easy route would be go to huge Dem districts where maybe no Republican is even running. That is a good way of building the grassroots in the area for the 2012 primaries.

But those candidates have not even made it out of the primaries yet.

Why can't we run

Why can't we run Jeffersonian Democrats in those dominated districts? For example, a Republican will never win in Denver unless we can somehow get 140,000 more votes.

Thomas Jefferson founded the Democratic party as the Republican party. The GOP named their party Republican in honor of Jefferson's party.

Let's take the GOP back to their roots AND the Democratic party!

This is going to be very

This is going to be very exciting and we in the movement are going to have a lot to do.

Did Both

This should be interesting!
