This documentary 'The New Age Infiltration of the Truth Movement', by Keith Thompson. made in Memory of William Cooper, sheds some interesting light on the trend pushed via Zeitgeist.
The attacks on freedom of religion are becoming more blatant. Only the other week, here in Sydney, Australia, one hospital has ordered that all religious signs were to be removed from a room where patients and family would sit for some peace of mind. It was said that it offends Muslims to have the Christian symbols around. We know no lie will stand in the way for them achieving what they want.
I recommend watching this 1.30 hr long documentary.

Let's put a little meat on these bones...
Let's assume that "Z" is not a "religion". Let's assume that it is only an agreed upon "way" of conducting social and personal affairs. Let's assume that it's just another way of governing.
Let's also assume that we all want to be good stewards of this earth as well of ourselves. And that we recognize that we all must participate in this stewardship. Well, if those assumptions can be held, then my question is, what happens to ANYONE, and I mean anyone who refuses to follow?
How are they dealt with by society? How are they "persuaded" to change their attitude? What happens when the hardhead just will not change?
I remember that the first step in establishing the "Z" utopia is to discover and account for ALL of the world's assets and resources. Then some as yet undefined body would figure out how they should be properly distributed for maximum efficiency. That sounds great on the surface, but what about the hardhead? What about that one guy who refuses to turn off his lights, or to move off his land so that society can properly distribute the mine of assets he's sitting on.
What do you do about the dissenters? Is there room in "Z-topia" for ANYONE who disagrees? What happens to those who do not want what society wants? Where do they go?
I don't think that any of these things have been properly considered because what we are watching unfold before us at this moment is the creation of "Z-topia". Why, just this week in China Nancy Pelosi spoke to the Chinese about America's need to catalouge EVERYTHING in the nation for efficiency - and you know what world influence the American gov. has. There are confirmed documents of FEMA camps being constructed across this nation; not to mention Obama's "consideration" of pre-emptive detention for "potential terrorists" - who could they be; thought criminals, patriots, some guy who just won't get with the program (a hardhead). The NAFTA superhighway, which was verified by the Canadian gov. on their own websites, would remove from private hands millions of acres of land underhandedly and place them under foreign control. As well many of our national parks are supposedly documented as collateral for massive federal (feral) borrowing. Everything is being consolidated.
Do you not realize that "Z" is already here? That the megalomaniacal government claiming power over the US and the EU (and most of the rest of the world) is the "Z-topia" in it's infant stage? Conglomeration and cohesion leading to consolidation is the goal of "Z". So is the goal of the UN. Slavery under the guise of freedom and safety is the goal of "Z". So is the goal of the UN. Releasing personal responsibility for all but the rote daily decisions is the goal of "Z". So is the goal of the UN. "Z-topia" is already here, right before your eyes. Recognize it.
All my assumptions above have already been put in place by governments, parents, faith based teachings, and in general, experience. They are basic assumptions, we are basic creatures. It's easy to recognize that we should not "piss in our own bed". But what happens if you choose not to play in the game? Or if you choose to play another game, a separate game? The answer - you are removed, end of your story.
I do not think that "Z-topia" is a very nice place, nor is it all it's been talked up to be even if it is just a way of governing. Imagine the horror if it truly is a "religion" - we have thousands of years of proof of how religions can be used in the untimely deaths and torture of millions of people and also against sovereign nations. I have always asked, and have never received a satisfactory answer to a simple question - "Where in the "Z" movement can one find individual sovereignty?
Answer that and I think your eyes will begin to loose their scales.

I would like to add a little history...
for some insight.
This is the story as I've read it and heard it. Cornwallis marched rather quickly through South Carolina. There was little resistence and what resistence did pop up was put down easily. All seemed to be the same when he marched into Charlotte, NC as well. However, as he tried to bring under his thumb the residents of Mecklenburg county he had to spend more and more time because he met more and more resistence. Small bands of locals began to nip and bite in increasing amounts. This began the slow down of Cornwallis' troops northward. All through NC and VA Cornwallis met more and more resistence from ever increasing, yet always rouge small groups. This slow down of the British moving north was imperative for the American troops from the north to regroup and march seceretly south, as well as was invaluable in buying time for the arrival of the French troops and navy.
We cannot let these "Z" supporters continue to derail the growth and march of the Liberty movement. Just as with the "300" scenario, a small band can pester into drugery a movement with great inertia. I do not believe that the discussion should be banned; that would be antithetical to Liberty, but I think we need to recognize that those so adamantly pushing "Z" here have made no valuable arguments as to how their philosophy is valuable to and supportive of individual sovereignty. In other words if they want to fall into the march for Liberty then they are more than welcome, as are all who want to fight for individual sovereignty. However, if they feel that they should just get the keys and the driver seat because they show up, then I'd suggest they assemble in their own way and beat their own path.
Liberty must choose it's friends wisely. We must watch who is let in camp (remember the Trojan horse) and who is held at bay. (Ironically I can picture myself writing this and not realizing that I too may be considered an outsider)
This may be interpreted as inflamitory, but it is not intended to be such. It is intended to be a reminder that there is a goal and along the march there are all kinds of twists in the road. We already have a map and a navigator, the Constitution and Ron Paul. We need to beware what convolutions are allowed and what alternate routes we take. I recieved a great piece of advise from a former employeer. When I was promoted to a managerial position he cautioned me, "Project management is like walking down a path through the woods. Your goal is to make it through the woods and get out alive. However, as you travel a number of "monsters" are going to jump out of the woods and yell, "I'm a monster chase me!", and then they'll take off into the woods. Some you have to chase down and deal with, others you don't. But no matter what monsters you chase, always remember that the goal is to get out of the woods."
We are in the woods, monsters are all around, "Z" seems to show up with frequency and is adamant that we chase it. What are you interested in - running around in the woods chasing the elusive and ever evasive beast, or getting in gear and moving out of the woods? What diversion has been laid that will be the one that puts Liberty in the same shoes as Cornwallis?

All I'm going to say is my qualm about the New Age movement is I'm concerned it may be a vehicle to turn people on to a world government, since it seems to be a recurring theme among newagers. I'm also going to say as much as I love science fiction, I'm also concerned it's making people entertain the notion we must have a world government to negotiate with other worlds that have world governments as well.
