Ralph Waldo you have basically summed up the "truth" movement. There are a lot of people going after this and in many different ways, but eventually they all lead back to America taking a really long hot shower and scrubbing hard. We've been in bed with some pretty nasty skanky people, and it catches.

and just want to be left alone. The only problem with trying to be left alone and living your own life, is - it leaves the gate open for aggressive and sinister forces to come in and take over. It's easy (and dangerous) to think because you have no intention to seek power and control, that everyone else shares this same benign desire. We just moved out of town and onto 60 acres to get away, but then I have to stay involved to educate people and stay in tune to what is happening around us. I think 911 should be reinvestigated, if for no other reason than WTC-7...which was suspiciously omitted from the 911 Commission Report.
But I don't buy all the conspiracies, I do think terrorist hijackers flew planes into the two buildings, and possibly the Pentagon as well, so I feel the allegation that it was all an "inside job" is very tenuous to prove. And, of course, since we are dealing with the US government, its "pet poodle" media, and Larry Silverstein (who would probably face prison and total liquidation of assets if insurance fraud were established), the odds of anything really solid coming out of the whole mess are pretty low.
Bear in mind that the suspicious mechanism of the building collapses is the only thing conspiracists can point to that can't be chalked up to "official incompetence". And there's no forsenic evidence of the buildings left, because it was all carried away and recycled as scrap. So how the buildings collapsed cannot be solidly proven, either.
I can't see anything ever being proven. So I think 911 will go down into history like Pearl Harbor or the JFK assassination with the stain of a big conspiratorial question mark, but no meaningful official inquiry.
Personally, I don't see 911 as the key to official distrust of the government or official tyranny...I have found that the one great lie of history that most solidly changes a person's mindset against statism, when disproven, is the lie of "heroic Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War to end Slavery". And that one only requires an inquiring mind, a willingness to read history that has been ignored, and a certain amount of political incorrectness.

The one difference I see
between 9/11 and the past atrocities ( JFK, Pearl Harbor, etc.) is that information is shared at a MUCH faster rate.
Just think about that lady that sang on that British talent show, and "shocked the world".
I hate to use that as an example, but her video got over 100 MILLION VIEWS in a very short time.
I think they are moving quickly to shut down the internet because of this, so you may be right.

Consider - there were only 3000 people killed - over 14,000 die in the U.S alone from Murder every year. over 60,000 in car accidents. Probably over 1 million Iraqi's have died as a result of our war in Iraq, not to mention the millions dead in places like Rwanda, Sudan, Congo, sierra leone, and sri Lanka.

She was going to high school in Tulsa soon after 911 and was grabbed by some rednecks because she was dark-skinned. They were pissed about the brown people, you see. So they beat her, told her she needed to go back to her own country. tied a rope to her and dragged her behind a pickup truck until she was dead.
She was Cherokee... living on Cherokee tribal land.

you know the perspective is very different
If you study the French and Indian war. The Iroquois had significant military power, and were participants in many events that shaped the Early U.S. - They were a tyrannical and brutal people (particularly to wards the other tribes in the area, many of whom they wiped out) and got what they deserved.
The Cherokee on the other hand were screwed royally by Europeans, and later specifically by Andrew Jackson - You probably know that the SCOTUS ruled in favor of the Cherokee.
I do agree about bigotry being an important part of using 911 and other events to promote war in the middle east. It is easy for them to group all muslims together.

She is the sweetest woman I've ever met, kind hearted, on the naive side tho. She is very brown skinned, and very beautiful, as are her children. She has had her trials being a Cherokee, but the worst is when they mistake her for black. Her husband's family treats her as dirt. The white ones. It's disgusting. She is the sweetest soul around. Back when immigrants came into the US, there was plenty of room for everyone. So was it totally the fault of the white man, or were the Indians also at fault in their very brutal ways?
