Here is some current affairs.
In Britian the top news story 20 days in a row is MP's expenses.
A small history... until 20 days ago, MPs expenses were not released to the public. But then they were leaked to the Telegraph newspaper. A lot of people struggling with recession have been incensed with MP's claiming expenses on moats, imaginary mortgages and double dipping.
13MPs have said they will stand down at the next election, with up to 100 in total expected. There is talk of constitutional changes. The Labour party, which is kind of like the democratic party are sitting third in the european election polls. People are furious.
However... total MP's expenses for the year amount to 100million pounds. Which is a pittance to what the bankers got.
The problem is there is no Libertarian group to fill the vacuume, the best we have is the UK independence party. Imagine if we had a Ron paul in the U.K.
The point is we have found the right issue that has made people in the U.K anti government. Moreso than the bailouts here or in the USA.
If only there was an issue like this in the USA that could be exploited? What could set off something like this in the USA?
