Most people will not change. Too radical. Not going with the flow. Not betting against the herd.
The best examples in the 20th century were Jews in Germany in 1933. They stayed. This included Jewish bankers, all of whom could have left. They thought they could deal with Hitler. They did not read Mein Kampf. They did not take it seriously.
About 7% did leave early: 38,000 out of 523,000. More left after 1938. By 1941, about 160,000 remained in Germany. Then emigration was closed by the Nazis. Earlier, it was encouraged. The data are here.
At some price, almost all could have left. There were countries that would have let them in. They would have had to learn a new language. They would have arrived in poverty. But Jews had faced those options ever since the Assyrian captivity in the eighth century B.C. So what?
They all would not have escaped the Nazis. Some would have moved to other European countries that were overrun by Germany after 1939. But they could have tried to get away. They stayed. They refused to acknowledge the warning signals. "It can't be that bad." It got worse.
Jews had an answer for worrywarts. "No problem. We can handle it."
The Armenians went through the same thing. The Turkish massacres of 1895 were a foretaste. Most stayed behind. Then came the genocide of 1915.

Isn't the article title Guaranteed Destruction? Whats this bit in there about if your wrong? And shouldn't we be trying to look out for all of humanity, even our loud mouth brother-in-law? Is it really going to be that easy to act like those of us that bought tsunami insurance are just as poor as the suckers caught up in the fascist bubble economics (FBE). These folks are going to be completely wiped out. Wouldn't it be prudent to show them some charity and compassion now than have to eventually be charitable out of compassion?
Besides I could be way off base here, but wouldn't there be some anarcho-capitalist benefit to making the price of gold, guns, and ammo sky rocket to crash the whole system sooner? If that truely is the inevitable end wouldn't we all be much better off if we could get as many folks prepared for the tsunami while simultaneously making the tsunami arrive faster? Is that not what the Austrians want? A hard,but swift cleansing of the bad debt (in this case Fed Res. notes). Can a Time Preference argument be made that we would like to get back to reality yesterday and not put it off for 4 to 6 more years?

The "no problem" folks are the same ones with an
"it doesn't effect me" mentality. Which of course is somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 million people.

Germany was duped
The audio files clearly state by a former Zionist that Germany, which was going to easily win WWI, lost due to America getting into the war. America was brought into it by the Zionists who negotiated a deal with Lord Balfour that if they got America into the war, the Zionists would get Palestine in exchange for pulling this off. The man who states this to be true is Benjamin Freedman, who claims to have been part of the whole negotiation process. Additionally, he also explains why Germany became so nationalistic after WWI when they found it was the Jews they were providing safe haven to (and a good living) prior to the war that punked them out at the end of the war. When the Germans fully understood what had happened to them, they were understandably furious. This led to the rise of Hitler and nationalism to an unprecedented level in Germany. I could go much further into this but you get the basic idea. Creating the state of Israel was the main goal. They got it right after WWII, at the hands of Germany - again.
Funny how when you see who's really running America these days - either politically or financially - you see the same bunch of Zionists. I'm not taking shots here, it's reality. Will America suffer the same fate as Germany when they're through with us?

Good article and very true. I have tried to get folks together of like mind to build a community to weather the coming storms. Lots talk but few act.
I am a bit depressed as I think about how hard its' going to be because people can't come together, and they cling to the corpse of the society we all grew up in.
I have said it repeatedly here that everything has changed. The future we were all planning on is gone, done, no more. That nice retirement you and the wife were planning on is history, IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
But people won't change and because of it the transition will be so much harder because most will be unprepared. I had really hoped some semblence of society and production would survive because I like many of the conveniences of society same as the next guy. However I can see a time soon when all production stops, trucks stop running, and many of the conveniences and comforts of society we are all used to will dry up, and there may even be civil war or at least chaos for a time, and it may be a long time before any form of decent society comes back if at all.
It makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with people even those who claim to be freedom lovers and fighters why can't they recognize what's happening? Many talk the talk but they really don't believe because they don't walk the walk.

more than a couple of years for most small fish to learn how to survive out of familiar waters,on the rocks, or to outswim the sharks in unfamiliar localities. I applaud hawkieye and others who have the skills, youth, whatever it took to leap free of entanglements.

Unfortunately most individuals cannot see the forest for the trees. That is very understandable to some extent because we have never had to face an economic crisis like we have today. The great depression was bad but it was nothing like the coming disaster if all of the predictions come about.
Most folks are in denial and will not acknowledge the signs until it is too late to do anything about the coming events -- it is simply too painful to entertain the thought of what appears to be on the economic horizon. We all hope that our worst fears will never materialise and things will return to normal soon.
Uncertainty as to what should be done and when to take action seems to dominate the way most folks think. For example: Peter Schiff was asked how we would know when we have a gold bubble. He answered: When everyone rushed to buy gold (paraphasing - can't remember the exact quote). In other words, now is the time to buy gold while the demand is low and it is still relatively cheap. The wise prepare during the quiet times for whatever is to come while others perish for lack of foresight -- unfortunately for some that is the human nature.

Is that he doesn't know his history. He is relying on what his highschool memories tell him. Not that theirs anything wrong with that.

Everyone ought to read or listen to the speech given by Benjamin Freedman at the Willard Hotel, Washington, DC in 1961. Google it and add "audio" to your search and it will come up.
Freedman was a top level Zionist who attended the Paris Peace Conference (where the infamous Treaty of Versailles was signed). He knows the planning that went into the events of WWI, WWII, and the entire 20th century.
I dare say, not a single Jewish banker died in the "holocaust." All the Zionist Jews got out of Germany (there were only a total of about 500,000 Jews to begin with), and left the religious Jews to take Hitler's heat ... and the whole "holocaust" was probably foisted on Hitler by us and the Zionists.

I started reading Gary North's remnant review when I was 19 years old as a freshman in college.. I still read him today.. Don't try to take this guy on when it comes to history. You will lose. The only thing this guy has gotten wrong was his y2k prediction.. but then again by doing what he said to prepare for y2k made me rich... period. I would have not gotten into gold in 1999 at 250.00 an ounce. I would not have a farm that has doubled in price.. so think what you will Gary North is a pretty smart guy.
