A thank-you note from Hillary
A while ago, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said something nice about "us" in a hearing to Dr. Paul (while expertly not-actually-answering his question & soaking up his remaining time, but what the hell do we expect?). Anyway, I'm not a huge Hillary fan or anything, but I know that small gestures go a long way, so I sent her a couple of bottles of "Hog's Ass" garlic habanero hot sauce, because I'd read she likes hot stuff.

Because I'm such a Libertarian and have-been for so long, I assumed I'm on all sorts of lists, so I had the manufacturer send her the sauce directly, to reduce the Secret Service suspicion factor. I also deliberately did NOT include a snail mail address, to save the taxpayers a stamp I gave only my name & email, but they still managed to figure out my previous snail mail address. I consider this evidence that I'm on some "lists," but sadly (or not!) I'm not on any of the "good" ones! ;)

When she said the nice things about "us," I did some research. I like hot sauces, but I was hoping to find her favorite, because I'd heard Hillary likes hot, too. I failed to find her favorite, but in my search I did find a Hillary supporter who was very encouraging, and she also said very nice things about "us." How "we" act matters, folks. More than we can understand at the time, showing that we care about others in spite of our political differences reaps many rewards. I hope the Goldwater Girl in Hillary loves the sauce, and maybe even listens to Dr. Paul's wise counsel in the future & on the sly.
