Submitted by THX1138 on Mon, 06/01/2009 - 06:53A prominent US abortion doctor has been shot dead at a church in the city of Wichita, Kansas.
Dr George Tiller, one of the few US doctors who performed late-term abortions, had been vilified by anti-abortionists in the US.

My freind
Had a girlfriend. One night he left her with me while he went to go purchase more alcohol. While waiting his girlfriend walked up to me,grabbed my junk, and said lets f-ck. I said "What about Devon?" She said "F9ck it." So I pushed her off of me cause by that time she had climbed up onto me.
Needless to say she became pregnant later on down the road by a random guy at some house party and aborted the baby while still dating my friend.
They're married now and have two kids.
To answer the question:
Dr. Paul would abhor the murder of the doctor while also abhorring the abortion actions of that doctor prior to his murder.
As for the rest, since it it the ninth anniversary of my son's death today, read this:

Three Central Questions
1) Is premeditated killing of innocent human life evil?
2) What is more evil than the premeditated killing of innocent human life?
3) Are those who support the premeditated killing of innocent human life evil?
There are times when I read a libertarian and think how brilliant. Then other times I wonder why is this person so cold blooded, so bereft of a sense of good and evil, right and wrong?
In the face of the loss of scores of millions of innocent human lives, the above libertarian chooses to be neutral. He tries to blur the issue. The issue is not complicated.
Answer the three questions above. Our answers say a lot about us.
Tillman's Abortion Clinic 'Permanently Closed'
Clinic of Murdered Kansas Abortion Doctor Will Be 'Permanently Closed'
Tuesday, June 09, 2009
AP
May 14: Physician George Tiller listens to testimony of former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline in Sedgwick County, Kan., District Court.
The clinic where slain Kansas abortion provider Dr. George Tiller worked will be "permanently closed," his family's attorneys said Tuesday.
Tiller. 67, performed late-term abortions at the Wichita clinic until he was gunned down by an anti-abortionist in church May 31.
Lee Thompson and Dan Monnat, attorneys for Tiller's family, said in a statement that "effective immediately, Women's Health Care Services, Inc., will be permanently closed.
"We are proud of the service and courage shown by our husband and father and know that women's health care needs have been met because of his dedication and service," the statement read. "That is a legacy that will never die."
The family said it plans to honor Tiller's memory through work at private charities.
Abortion opponent Scott Roeder, 51, is in jail on first-degree murder charges in the killing.
Tiller's funeral was held Saturday.

Abortionist Tiller Admits to Performing Abortions the Day Before Delivery
His Speech at National Education Association
Wednesday March 19, 2008
By John-Henry Westen
ARLINGTON, VA, March 19, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Notorious partial-birth abortion specialist Dr. George Tiller of Wichita, KS, was caught on hidden video admitting to aborting babies a day before the mother's due date. Students for Life of America (SFLA) today released the video which was made at the Feminist Majority Foundation's annual Women's Leadership Conference held at the National Education Association (NEA) on March 9.
The video reveals Dr. Tiller showcasing massive and graphic pictures of children with fetal abnormalities that he had aborted, so as to make the case for late-term abortions as necessary medical procedure. SFLA's Executive Director Kristan Hawkins, who videotaped the conference and interviewed Tiller clandestinely, commented on the gruesome pictures of aborted children Tiller showed, saying, "One had an extra arm: could not that child had survived and received corrective surgery? Was violently killing the child the only way to go?"

Hey
Feminist are all about killing the unborn. To them its a parasite.
Girl power and women's liberation indeed. Its my body I do what I want.
There
Was a girl I dated while I was in the Air force. After a night of partying we would end up back at my dorm and passout. She was cool. That was untill one night I awoke from my stuper and found that she had left. She would drive home drunk? Then I heard nocking from my neighbors wall. And sounds of sex.
I walked over to my neighbors door and banged on it. He answered the door. "Is Ashley in their!" I bellowed.
"No shit, that's your girl? I'm sorry bro. Damn. She just came to my door and started grabbin on me dawg. I didn't know."
"That's fine. Just make sure she gets off the base in the morning."
"Mike? Is that you? I love you babe!"
"Bitch you got to got." said my neighbor
"No I want to stay. F-me."
Well suffice to say she was tossed out into the hallway and tried to get back in my dorm room. I had to get the SP's to escort her off the base.
She had an abortion later on. She called me of all people to tell. I said that's nice and hung up the phone. Women.
Sad, sad
Sorry story, I wonder what kind of upbringing she had to have such low standards and value for life.
These kind of women need help. They need education about how to respect themselves and how to respect life. Of course I wouldn't expect this kind of help to come in the middle of the night on a military base.
There are many Pro-Life outreach groups around the country, most of them from chruch groups. Don't imagine many government sponsored Pro-Life outreach groups, probably illegal.
Maybe you can use your experience to work with young men so that they support women, or perhaps when you see some young lost girl, going down the wrong road, try to guide her in the right direction.
grant
Its hard
First you have to get past the emotional issues most women have then get to their logical side which few women have. I've found that playing to both the emotional and throwing in some logical helps most young girls falling down that slippery slope.
Women are all about feeling. How will that make me feel? Will I feel good dating him? Will this food make me feel happy?
Playing to their feelings opens the door to their logic. Once they feel good their minds open up. You cannot approach a woman with pure logic. That would be overwhelming to them. Make them feel good about your presence then approach them with logic.
I should start a nature show.
Next on "Women-The finale frontier"
I could pitch it to Nat-geo.
For this reason it is
For this reason it is probably best that women council women. There are many women out there that are great role models, non in government, but they do exist.
At the same time with your experience perhaps you may need some counciling as well. Not only did you get slammed by a bad relationship, but you may in the back of your mind believe that the baby killed by your ex was yours. And eventhough society wants men to be detached from the issue, with every abortion there is a father involved.

Meh
Could be. She could have killed my kid... That's just how the female mind works I guess. In any event I probably should see a shrink. The war, women, and death. What a combination.
I was originally "pro-choice" ...
at least during the first trimester. I still am as far as rape or incest. However, I never supported Roe v. Wade, because it's not supported by the Constitution. Abortion is a state issue.
Regarding rape or incest, I
Regarding rape or incest, I thought that the movie "Rob Roy" had the appropriate response. His wife, being uncertain of her unborn child's parentage, hints a question to her husband whether she should have an abortion. His response is this: "it is not the child's fault." Why should the child have to pay for the crimes of his father?
I am pro-life in that I believe that all lives are precious.
A so called child in the
A so called child in the first trimester is not a "child"..it has no cognitive thought or memory..or knowledge of any kind...How then can it be considered a child...Yes it is a living being..but what are you destroying really? A child that never truly had an existence is not paying for anything that their father has done...

Have you ever seen an
Have you ever seen an ultra-sound of a baby in his mother's womb as he twists and turns before your very eyes with tiny hands and feet? It is a sight that may just change your mind as to whether or not the baby is a human.
Funny, I am scheduled to got to an ultra-sound this very afternoon for our fifth child. There is a reason why you find very few ultra-sound technicians who are not pro-life.
I think my original response
I think my original response is sufficient enough....

It's all part of the psychology of killing.
It is a common practice that violence is accompanied by the belief that their target of violence is not human. It helps them to live with themselves when they do the killing.
Basically, they rationalize it in their minds this way.
We see the same thing in most "wars", where the enemy is portrayed as "not human" or "sub-human" so that it seems less unsavory to do away with them.
This is a very typical psychological approach, and you can easily see that it has been, and is being, applied in this case of "pro-abortion".
If possible, always "dehumanize" your target of destruction, to make it easier for you to do. Or, at least that's what the violent types promote.
So, the argument of "it's not human" is the very definition of this tactic, and is quite apparent that it's being used as a strategy for this abortion argument.
BigT with the PH.D...You do
BigT with the PH.D...You do have a valid point...yet it doesn't fit with me...because I like animals more than I like people...so for me to dehumanize in that aspect..I would not want to kill at all...

Logic,
I also like animals, and I've often said that my pets are better companions than some people.
I love my pets.
Of course, my statements were somewhat of a generality, with the target aimed more at the argument, than necessarily at the arguer.

pictures or videos shown of any procedures, especially late-term abortions. These are fully formed humans, waiting to be born and fully viable.

Logic: Where does one draw the line in this issue? The big ...
question. 24 weeks is the age of viability. Mortality is high below that time of gestation. All stages of development are still human stages of development. For me, the answer is pro-life. The third trimester, after 26 weeks is clear for us, and I'm glad we agree on that, which is what this thread is about.
Expected this news: New Abortion Doctor to Continue Mission
Physician Friend of Slain Abortion Doctor Wants to Continue Mission
Tuesday, June 02, 2009
OMAHA, Neb. — Physician LeRoy Carhart wants to continue providing third-term abortions after the brazen slaying of his friend and colleague George Tiller, but the Nebraska doctor doesn't have anywhere to perform them — and he's one of only a handful of providers who will.
Tiller's Wichita, Kan., clinic was shuttered Sunday after the 67-year-old physician was gunned down at his church. His family said Tuesday that they were unsure when it would reopen, posing a problem for Carhart, who wants to carry on his friend's mission.
Carhart, 67, is one of a handful of remaining doctors in the United States who perform third-trimester abortions, and it is uncertain if a new generation of providers will take over the cause. Schools and universities don't offer many programs to train physicians on how to perform the procedure, and Carhart said younger doctors who might be interested in stepping forward are afraid they or their families will be harmed.

I saw a similar article
I saw a similar article where it was praising him as a virtual saint for his "ministry" to the expectant mothers. To think that he was killed while serving as an usher in his church. It just goes to show how far the church has fallen in America because we refused to stand up for what the Bible says: "thou shalt not kill". We do not hold ourselves accountable. We do not treat sin as sin. This is the inevitable result -- not just the willful murder of thousands of innocent children by the hand of a so-called Christian, but the blatant disregard for law and morality in a man who took justice into his own hands rather than leaving it to God.
Good Post
For those who choose to be part of a congregation, according to the New Testament "you are your brother's keeper".
There is a procedure to be followed when a member sins. First go alone to he who sins and talk about the sin. If he stops all is as it was before. If not take one or two others and talk to him again. If he stops all is as it was before. If not take it before the entire congregation. If he still continues then he is expelled.
The congregation failed the deceased by ignoring his sin.

Partial-Birth Abortionist Confesses He is "Going to Hell"
Wichita, KS - According to a recent Gallup poll, the majority of Americans believe they are going to heaven and very few believe in a literal hell as a place of eternal suffering for sin. But late-term abortionist George Tiller says hell is a very real place -- a location in which he plans on spending all of eternity.
During a recent demonstration outside the walls of the nation's largest abortion facility, Mr. Tiller was approached by three unassuming women, each an independent sidewalk counselor. Although Tiller regularly parks his armor-laden vehicle in a secure parking garage on his clinic property, on the morning of January 22, 2003, he declared he was "celebrating freedom" by parking his truck on the public street and walking half a block to work.
The opportunity did not go unseized. A sidewalk counselor repeatedly told abortionist Tiller that God was concerned about the babies he murders through abortion. She also expressed that God was concerned about Tiller's soul. Other counselors urged Tiller to repent for the "shedding of innocent blood," and to beg Jesus to forgive his murderous sins.
With Tiller arriving at the front gate to his property, a counselor finished her plea, "You can't go to heaven unrepentant, George; you are going to hell." The abortionist George Tiller instantly quipped, "Abortion is worth going to hell for."
This statement may not stun people who believe abortion is a merciful act of justice administered to needy women in crisis. But even those would surely admit that to go to hell is not much of a reward for killing children. Clearly Tiller's declaration stands as a proclamation to all in the abortion industry, that: "God hates... the hands that shed innocent blood," (Proverbs 6:17) and that "The wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). Hell awaits all people who refuse to repent of their sins.
Yet Tiller can find forgiveness for the bloodguilt he bears, but only in Jesus Christ, God's only son. As the abortionist entered his building, the last words he heard were, "Mr. Tiller, Jesus Christ shed His own blood on the cross to pay for your sins. We are praying for your salvation."
May our hearts echo this prayer, because "Repentance for forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His (Jesus') name..." (Luke 24:4). Who knows what could happen? Even Tiller himself had stated before, "Never underestimate the power of prayer."
Editor's note: Mr. Tiller claims to have more late-term abortion experience than anyone else in the world. He travels world-wide and speaks extensively on late-term abortions.
Please join Operation Rescue West in praying for Tiller's soul to be spared from hell.
He wants to
"continue the cause".
I think that says it all.
These people aren't medical doctors. They are radical political activists armed with a scalpel.
And IMO, murderers.
BigT: Best buddies, both killing late-term babies. Soul-mates.
They aren't human and don't have a soul.
Look at this guy's picture on the link and you will know what I mean.
Old white men killing a bunch of babies.
This is one field where we need some ethnic diversity. They are giving the white race a bad name.
