The Military is dropping the
The Military is dropping the Hummer. The new vehicle of choice hasn't been decided on yet as far as I know, but there are several bids out there.
My husband is a contractor in Afghanistan, and works on the vehicles. That's how I know this.

The Military vehicle is a
The Military vehicle is a HMMWV, (Humvee) which is made by AM General Corp not General Motors.
An H2 which most people call a Hummer, is just a Surburban frame with a Humvee looking body.
Maybe AM General will return to the REAL...
American military vehicle...the Jeep. We need some class in our armed forces, and in my mind we lost it when they abandoned the Jeep. Of course I like Jeeps, so there...
