Ron Paul Ridicule

I usually get annoyed when I read people here go on and on about how biased the mainstream media is against Ron Paul, but today I believe I actually witnessed some legitimate, disgusting bias.

At the end of Tucker Carlson's show today, Bill Wolfe reported that Barbra Streisand had endorsed Ron Paul's presidential campaign.

After talking about Paul for about ten seconds or less, he smirked, and then said that he was just kidding; Streisand actually endorsed Hillarly Clinton.

The camera then switched from footage of Streisand back to Tucker, who was looking incredibly perplexed (and slightly hurt).

There have been a lot of people on this site who don't think that Tucker really supports Ron Paul or that he doesn't support Ron Paul enough.

I've also heard people allege that it's Tucker's support of Ron Paul that drives MSNBC crazy enough to consider firing him.

It definitely seemed today that vice president Wolfe was looking Carlson in the eye and derisively saying, "You're a silly Ron Paul guy in a serious Hillary Clinton world--get a life!"

Unforgiven

the guy showed up at a rally with a pimp and some whores and is SOLEY responsible for 58 (and counting) stories that paint Ron Paul as being in bed with yet another group of people that turns off main stream America.

This on top of his statement on Bill Maher. When given the chance to endorse and say something great he said, and I qoute, "Can we all stop pretending to be in love with Ron Paul?"

If this is your idea of support you can keep it. The guy is a traitor.

Please clarify.

You're talking about Carlson?

Just because Tucker's not "in love" with Ron Paul doesn't meant he doesn't support him. Tucker has said on his show that he doesn't agree with all of Paul's positions, yet he has often talked about how he voted for Paul in '88 and just a few days ago he flat-out admitted to shilling for Paul on air (he even used that exact word, shilling. "I'm not shilling for Ron Paul. . . okay I am.)

This morning on Morning Joe or whatever that show is called, Ron Paul said that he may be losing Tucker "from the fold," but Willie Geist, who Bill Wolfe replaced on Tucker's show, assured Paul on-air that he and Tucker are both still avid supporters of the Ron Paul campaign.

Tucker and Geist have twisted senses of humor though, humor I admit to liking, and find the whole Bunny Ranch story quite amusing. In the summer it became common for Tucker to talk about not only the Obama Girl video, but also the Ron Paul and Guiliani Girl videos.

Like it or not, Tucker finds this stuff funny, and also adheres to the TV maxim (no pun intended) that sex sells.

i am tired of hearing about saint tucker.

Saint or Demon

I agree. Tucker's no saint, but does that make him a demon?
