*ALERT*- Dr. Paul's HR 1207 being secretly neutered /messed with??

Legislation to give Congress greater oversight of the Federal Reserve was severely watered down on the Senate floor Wednesday in private negotiations between two powerful Republican senators.
Thanks to an overlooked document posted on the website of Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa, the top ranking Republican on the Finance Committee, voters can virtually watch the water being dumped into the brew that Grassley had hoped to force the Fed to drink. (See the document at the bottom of this story.)

It's the senate bill, which has no cosponsors
I don't think this impacts the house bill.

The Senate bill is S604 and was introduced by Bernie Sanders
His bill is the same as HR 1207 word for word. It does impact the house bill because in order for it to become law it has to pass both houses.
Both HR 1207 and S 604 must pass. And you're correct...S 604 has no sponsors.
This tells me that there is only one Senator who really cares about transparency...Bernie Sanders. With all the rest transparency is just a word, like so many other words they use to get themselves reelected.
Wouldn't the most fast
asleep Americans want to know why many of their Congresscritters are so reluctant to support a bill that is a no brainier?
A bill that is all about transparency. A bill that is so uncomplicated. A bill that has just a little over 400 words. A bill a fifth grader would be able to understand. That bill is of course, HR 1207.
Yet there are no co sponsors in the Senate.
And in the House there are still 29 Republicans who have not signed on and a very, very long list of Democrats who are still dragging their feet.
Now just why don't these reluctant Congresscritters want the Fed audited? Do they and/or the Fed have something to hide from the American people?
What happened to all their talk about transparency? Or was it just that...nothing more than talk and reelection rhetoric?
