I think I just planted a seed of free thinking

I just had 2 guys come in the store to rent a pump, they had a kid with them about 9-10 years old. I could tell from the address that they lived if not in, real close to a government housing area over in the little town to the east. They were nice guys, didn't seem to be very educated, but they seemed to be blue collar regular folks. They were black, I am white. The little kid saw my "Barack O'Cain they're both the same" picture on the wall, and got mad.

He was mad that I had it up, ( it is next to my Barack Obama fire arms salesman of the year picture, and my who is Ron Paul & why is he trying to save my country picture), the two older guys got a little angry as well, so it lead into a discussion. And I am happy it did.

I got to talking to them about how the democrats and the republicans are the exact same thing. One guy then said "I vote democrat cause the republicans always want to fight wars". I then said it isn't just the republicans that do that, the democrats do as well, like LBJ and Vietnam, Clinton & the Slavic country's, Iraq, and Obama and Afghanistan.

He then said "that was the Bush & the republicans", I then told him how Obama just ordered about 20,000 more troops over there. I then talked about how the two parties play of each other yet do the same exact things, which is make us slaves. (The little kid got mad that I said the word slave, more proof that the governments indoctrination system is working. He was mad just because, I ,a white guy said the word slave.)

I then brought up the fact that most every time we invade somebody that regardless of which ever party is in power that the folks we invade are almost always black, brown, or yellow, and live in an area that has a lot of resources, not always the case, but more often than not in the modern era it has been. I was trying to get them to see, that it ain't about dems. and reps. it is about power and money, and both parties do all they can to get both. And them using different words to describe their actions don't make the actions any different. ( I wanted to get into the FED, but they weren't ready for that yet)

I talked a little about how both parties do their best to divide us into groups and that both of them want us all to be nothing more than slaves to the government.

I asked them "if they owned their house", they said "yes", I then told them "no you don't what happens if you miss a tax payment? " I then said we aren't allowed to really own anything, and then more than 1/2 of what we have goes back to pay them taxes each year, and I went through a short list of how they regulate everything from food to the tv signals, what we read, where we can go, etc. if that isn't near about slavery then what is? And it is both the democrats and the republicans that are responsible. And my sign is true McCain & Obama were both the same.

The little kid still looked like he wanted to slap me, but the two adults I think really started thinking about things differently than they had before. When they bring the pump back in tomorrow I want to talk with them some more. I could tell as we talked that the two older guys liked the idea of freedom and saw where I was coming from, and deep down wanted to hear more.

Any ideas on what I could print out for them or direct them to? They were nice enough guys, but were pissed off at me because they have been brainwashed by the government into the whole group mindset, democrats are good for black folks, republicans bad for black folks, don't mess with Obama crap.

They were hard core into the mindset of don't mess with Obama cause he's black. I softened them up a little, and want to talk to them more tomorrow.

Here's an idea

Tell them to watch America: From Freedom to Fascism -- it's always an eye opener (although a little sketchy in some areas) --- express the need to become a critical thinker that dwells outside of the realm of main stream media. Opening minds to critical thought is huge and although this documentary certainly lacks in some areas, it raises many good questions.

Here's something:

Short and sweet:

"Barack Obama Has Become George Bush"
by James Glaser
May 15, 2009
That quote above comes from one of the dyed-in-the-wool Barack Obama supporters who rent art studios near mine. I think it is so cool, because this guy, and a couple of other guys I work near, are all starting to see that Barack Obama is doing the same things George Bush did. For a couple of years I have been telling them that Democrats are not much different than Republicans, and that corporations are the ones who really call the shots in America. Their answer was always that Barack Obama would be different.

This whole post election time period has been hard on these guys, because they really thought Obama was telling the truth about doing things differently when he got to Washington. All of these Obama backers have watched in disbelief as our new President started spending the way George did.

Then they had to watch as President Obama started talking about his own military surge in Afghanistan, and how that the troops were not going to be coming home from Iraq like he said in the campaign. These guys were all anti-war voters, and in their eyes, Barack Hussein Obama was the anti-war candidate.

On top of that, the Obama administration started defending the Bush administration's wire tapping of Americans, and the Patriot Act is still the law of the land. These guys bought right into the "change" thing, and really believed that Barack Obama thought the way they did.

This morning was about the last straw. Barack is going to withhold the torture pictures. It was just two weeks ago that their new president said he was going to release those pictures. The White House said President Obama had talked to the generals, and they didn't want those pictures out. That was a cover-up excuse right out of George Bush's playbook. Really, these guys and much of the Democrat Party can't understand what happened to this new President in whom they put their trust.

Barack Obama thinks if he releases those pictures it will hurt America's reputation. Well, the Obama voters down where I work know that America couldn't have a much worse reputation than we have now, and they were thinking Barack Obama would be the guy to make our country look good again.

They see, and as they know, the whole world sees, that Barack Obama has morphed into George Bush in both word and deed. They now know they wasted their vote again. For the first time in the three years I have been down here in Tallahassee, I am hearing Democrats talking about our only hope... getting rid of both major parties and going back to believing in our Constitution.

If Barack Obama can get Americans thinking about our Constitution, then his getting elected can bring us some hope and change. I just hope it isn't too late.

Mathew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Awesome!

I'm pretty new to this, so I have a lot to learn too, but I'd say don't hammer on Obama too hard. Don't shy away, but don't single him out, it might push them away. I'm sure they have a personal attachment and It's still probably too soon, let them figure that out on there own.

the question is always

how many minds did we free, today?

You have allot of good advice on this thread

I think it would be mind blowing to replace the pictures.. refresh with something else...

This is a great idea, Granger.

The posters on the wall sparked the first discussion, so a change of posters would be the perfect thing!

What about the fact that the

What about the fact that the drug war has put more black people in prison but neither party seems to want to decriminalize drugs and set these non-criminals free? Obama gave lip service to keeping the feds out of medical marijuana but his thugs still raided CA despite promises to the contrary. Now Obama wants to have indefinite detention of people suspected of maybe committing crimes. What will that do to the black population? This guy is not their friend.

Another point to make is that there have been many more

white-skinned slaves in the world than dark-skinned ones over the years. Slavery has nothing to do with who has the best suntan! It has to do with a wrongful action taking away one's liberty.

I like this. Did you think of that or is a quote from someone?

"What was taken from the boomers, it ain't there, what was taken from the X'ers it ain't there, what is being taken from their great, great, great squared grandchildren it ain't there. Some generation just has to have the guts to quit passing it on." Me

*May the only ones to touch your junk, be the ones you want to touch your junk.*

The suntan part is a quote from me--just my way to describe

race. All my life I have enjoyed seeing beautiful children of all races----and that is really how I think of it in my mind--if I think of it at all! It is not race---it is a beautiful dark complexion--or white--or whatever!
I can't remember where I read that there have been many more white slaves in the world than black, but in the past history of the world the conquering country enslaved the conquered, so it is probably a true fact.

The Socratic Method ...

... just proposed will probably prove to be the best way to promote dialogue leading to the opening of minds.

But how's this for on point elaboration on the slavery question:

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/94073

This is really shocking to black folks

Inform them that Obama's white half is the same bloodline as Bush AND Cheney...that's right, they are ALL cousins! I've never seen one get angry when told that - they usually just sit there for a minute and think about that one for awhile.

Then tell them that McCain and Obama are both in the same club (CFR).

Now they are ready to watch AFTF or The Obama Deception.

We really need to reach out to the inner city folks. The more black and Hispanic people we get involved in our movement, the less the NWO can effectively lump us in with white supremacists.

Do you have a

couple of spare pocket Constitutions to give each of them? The kid too.

can't wait to hear the update...

I love that Barack O'Cain pic, hilarious. Definitely burn some CD's for them.

Instead of declarative sentences, I'd use questions.

If you say: "Bush did this" or "Obama did that", then you have already raised their hackles and put barriers up in their minds. Ask them questions instead.

Why hasn't Obama withdrawn troops from Iraq?
Why hasn't Obama withdrawn troops from Afghanistan?
Why hasn't Obama closed down Bush's concentration camp at Gitmo?
Why does Obama support Bush's Patriot Act?
Why does Obama want to bail out the bankers and buy failing businesses?
Why does America still have so many military bases in so many countries?
Why does America give military aid to Israel AND humanitarian aid to the Palestinians?
Why is the Federal Reserve a private corporation on the business pages of the phone book?
Why does the government print debt liabilities and sell them for Federal Reserve Notes when it could just as easily print US Notes?
What is Obama doing about THAT?

Absolutely the most positive

Absolutely the most positive post I've read in a long time. In fact, I think you started something. I love to read any story describing a seed of free thinking sprouting. I can't wait to hear what happens tomorrow. Thanks so much for writing this.

Sounds like a job for The Obama Deception

Can you burn a DVD? With that film, I woke up-- get ready now -- The Clerk of the Baltimore City Circuit Court, The Baltimore Register of Wills, a State Delegate, and a Baltimore City Councilwoman; all in one sitting. It works.

Awesome job Mike:

I have been wanting to talk to you about a few things. Seems I am still stuck here and if I can't get away to where I want to be, I might just as well make time to fight these criminals here. Perhaps soon, you and I can converse, and I can learn some things from you.
I have been talking like a fool for a long while now and have gotten through to quite a few people. I even had a nice lady stop me in a parking lot because she saw my RP stuff in the back of my van. Like your other thread, yes, I find myself talking about this stuff every minute of every day.

that's quite a feat! btw, I used to live in a little town called Edgewater, just South of Annapolis.

You rock!

Just keep on doing what you're doing, and I'm convinced you'll have these guys converted. Awesome job!

you're a terrorist man...

spreading all that love and freedom $h!t around. And now that you've got someone else thinking along those lines they'll have to be taken out too. It really is a shame that your desire for Liberty is so infective. If too many slaves come down with this stuff, well, we're going to have to have a massive wipe out. Oh, funny, that's already planned anyway...So, now what do you think of yourself?!

Assert Your Authority

Assert Your Authority

Yeah I know

I talked earlier today to a retired Navy guy that came in. He was quite upset that his government now feels that he is a terrorist since he is a veteran.

In my store I am the emperor of the Free State of O'Dell, and when you come in you are subject to hear the emperor's views on things. :)

Of course I fully realize that my empire isn't really mine and like all of you I the emperor am a slave to the empire of america.

I got the empire thing from Redd Foxx on Sanford and Son. And you know what it suits me just right.

Oh, be sure to

update this tomorrow and let us know how it went. It sounds like you did a great job. Ask them if they thought it was strange that he picked Biden as his vice president? That Bush called Clinton his brother at a conference in Canada. To be honest I haven't had much luck convince anyone so I think your doing well without my advice. Here's a bump and good luck.
