Kentuckiana Grassroots Radio-Help Wanted for Volunteers, Donors, and Ideas
Folks, I want to propose a refreshing idea to the liberty movement. A team of local citizens are gathering together to start a grassroots radio program. The show will cover the local, and multi-state news from a liberty perspective out of Louisville, Kentucky. Our main goal is have interviews, speak on the news of the day, educate, and use this as a forum to get out the freedom message. We are starting an internet radio show on Blogtalkradio called: Kentuckiana Grassroots on Thursday, June 11th, 2009 at 7 PM. (I will post a link of internet show on the blog tomorrow.)We also plan on doing a weekly half hour radio program called Kentuckiana Grassroots in the near future. The cost to do the half hour AM radio is $1,300 every 13 wks. Our goal is to get out the liberty message in Louisville Metro area on the AM radio dial, and the rest of the Kentucky, Indiana, and the rest of the country on the internet radio show. This project is on going and will continue to pick up stream day by day and it is something once started is going to continue in the years to come. So, if you wish to volunteer your ideas, time, money, or have someone in mind to do an interview with, please contact us. The first phase is the internet radio show and is starting on June 11th, and AM radio program, which is the second phase will begin once we raise the necessary $1,300 in hand. If you know individuals, liberty groups/organizations, businesses, or non profits who wish to advertise on a talk radio station for $200 for 13 thirty second radio spots, please pass along there information. We need to raise a steady stream of $1,300 before we can go on the AM radio waves.
This idea is vital to get out the message of liberty on a local, state, and multi state level because we do not have a voice on the broadcast media in our area. If you have any suggestions, comments, or questions, please contact us via e-mail soon.

I have been sent an idea about having a KY Church having a carry a gun worship service. It is a unique idea. Is anyone willing to step up to the plate for interviews, technical expertise, a real donation?

After reading your post explaining Amy Goodman-radio show idea
After reading your post, I want to explain that I am searching for ideas, volunteers, hints, or advertisers/donors to an internet radio and also regular radio show. I think I would consider having Amy Goodman on in the future, but demanding equal time for me is not a true fit. I would only say that I will check into it, but I focusing on local, state, and multi state action keying in on the liberty message.

Feel free to contact us about the two radio programs.
We want to turn this idea into a reality and it keep going for many years to come. We are starting on the internet, then the AM radio. Once these two items progress we will move into other media outlets. I also want to use the show to promote our local, state, and surrounding state candidates. If we are successful with these two programs we can expand into other media outlets.
Also, we want to discuss legislation or ordinances in the upcoming months in Metro Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana, and the rest of the nation.

Our mission is not just get out our take on the news, or do savvy interviews, spread the liberty message through education, or legislation updates or pro/anti freedom pieces, but it is will also concern our rights.
Good News about the Liberty Radio Program

I helped promote the Dr. Rand Paul 2010 US Senate campaign last week, and I am Clint4liberty on the CFL out of Jefferson County, if you want to do some research. Our team is very excited about this news, but I need your input. I have seen a few posts on people wishing they had an long-lasting idea to support. My friends, this idea is one of them.
If you are looking for a real way to get involved into real activism this is the right thread.
Clint, What Is The Likelyhood You Guys Will Be Able......
to bring on sponsors, if not early in the process, eventually? For instance, some of the Internet Radio Shows I listen to like Alex Jones and Jeff Rense have numerous sponsors. Obviously, these two examples have a large number of nightly listeners and are not the norm in as far as Internet Radio. However, I would assume most if not all have at least some sponsorship.
Sponsors-Internet or Regular Radio
Yes, we will be able to do the internet radio program for little cost. We are moving forward with the internet radio program on June 11th. We do need sponsors for the AM Radio program, but if someone wants to advertise on the internet radio program that is also an option. Personally, we want to have sponsors on both programs. The chance of getting sponsors is pretty high, but we want to have them lined up in the next month, if possible. Do you have any ideas on someone who would want to be a sponsor on an internet or regular radio program in your area-or circle of friends?
Currently I'm not aware of anyone or any business......
looking to advertise on the radio or internet radio at this time, however, if I come across anyone who might be interested, I'll definitely keep you guys in mind.

Thank you very much and please spread the word about this idea to your liberty minded love ones and friends. We don't just need regular donors or advertisers, but also people we could interview in the future. This is multi pronged effort. If we could raise $811 dollars by July 1st we could be on the AM Radio by the second week of July. My main concern is having liberty minded who are willing to donate $5, 10, all the way up to $200 every three months. It is going to take about six months to a year to truly catch on the AM radio program, so steady, reliable revenue is key. If anyone is willing to find advertisers I would be glad to promote something pro-liberty that you are advocating in a free 30 sec spot each show for 13 epsoides or weeks.
