Dailypaul Poetry Break: #1 "We Are Becoming More Robotic"

now we are becoming more robotic-
parts of us disposable ,dispensable-
a room full of eyes,another of ears,nose ,throats
(the throats of larks a specialty for 9 yr old opera singers)
advances in medicine and replacement surgeries
have advanced beyond Hitler's crude experiments
past DOLLY sheep cloning and country and western
past franchised radio channels and corporate rock
past layoffs and computer programs
into the every moods of common folk
now you can adjust your despair levels with medication
sleep or not with uppers or downers
stay awake if you will or slow down significantly
self-medication legal as euthenasia-medical
marijuana ,cocaine,heroine,crack,PCP-
the pharmacopia possibilities are endless-
children experiment with cancerous cigarettes
and are weaned into alcohol and violent gang bahavior
Elders can top themselves off with pills -or ask professionals
Middle class managers can mediate and medicate moods
with appropriate dispensed enhancers-equality of medication!
One or two have not yet succumbed to mass injections
as given freely via fluoride n city water supplies
and vaccines allegedly for flu.YOU CAN CHOOSE
the color of your child/their smile/emotional configuration
This Brave New World has gone way past 1984
into an efficiency superior to machines
Be the first on your block to follow orders and implant
chips for your own security-lost children,dogs,Alzheimers patients-
all benefit from technology.George Orwell was wrong-
you CAN have better living with electronics-especially
when you are connected to the Matrix
YOU ARE THE MACHINE!
