One week until the money bomb

RJ's Campaign Released this Today:

One week from today, grassroots supporters will send a clear message to Oklahoma's 4th congressional district. The days of claiming the mantle of fiscal responsibility, while voting for more spending, more borrowing, and more money printing are coming to an end.

RJ Harris won't just claim to be a fiscal conservative, he'll actually vote like one.. His opponent in the 2010 Republican Primary, incumbent Tom Cole, voted for George W. Bush's policies close to 100% of the time. Yet, Bush's administration never balanced the budget, doubled the national debt, devalued the US Dollar, and supported the $700 billion Wall St. bailout. Recently, in early 2008, Tom Cole voted for the Bush stimulus package, which increased the budget deficit, added more debt, and failed to prevent a severe recession. Then, in late 2008, Tom Cole voted for both versions of the infamous $700 billion bank bailout, sponsored by the Bush administration.

As an Iraq war veteran who served two combat tours, RJ Harris knows what it's like to "walk the walk". He will not tolerate unbalanced budgets, more debt, inflation caused by a weak Dollar, or the abandonment of free market capitalism to rescue Wall St. failures.

RJ Harris is truly a breath of fresh air the people of Oklahoma and this nation so desperately desire. The people are tired of so-called fiscal conservatives who vote for bailouts and reckless spending. On Friday, June 19, the grassroots will fire the first shot across the bow when it donates in mass to the RJ Harris money bomb. The Establishment will be put on notice. RJ Harris, a real soldier and genuine fiscal conservative, means business.

Only 1 more week

Let RJ know you have his back next Friday. He's an Iraq war veteran and Ron Paul conservative. He's running against an incumbent Republican, Tom Cole, who voted for the $700 billion bank bailout, voted for the early 2008 Bush "stimulus" bill, and voted to reinstate the Patriot Act, among other things.

Adam Kokesh has encouraged us to donate to RJ, and RJ will be appearing with Rand Paul on the Patriot's Pipeline Radio Show in a couple weeks. If you want to know more about RJ, go to his website. He's written about a ton of issues.

http://rjharris2010.com/

I hope so...

there aren't many pledges on the ticker... Adam Kokesh asked that we donate to RJ too (check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0M1Mv0LP20&feature=player_em...). Maybe this will get more people to back him up.

Only 10 more days

Till we bomb RJ with thousands. How about $25,000 anyone?

Thanks,

RJ for your courage.

"Truth is treason in the empire of lies"

This is awesome!

It's great to see others are finally starting to jump on board. If we get RJ Harris, Rand Paul, Adam Kokesh, and Peter Schiff in our Congress in 2010 this will be amazing. Imagine if they were in right now? This audit the FED bill would have already passed with them lobbying. The leadership speaking skills of Harris and Kokesh would shake up the neo-con/progressive global empire agenda, and the Rand Paul and Schiff intellect speaking skills will shake the **** out of the keynsian economic establishment. I just envision it now... two Senators and two Reps +Ron Paul and some others just owning that Congress. Come 2012 we'll have a new Congress, an infilitrated GOP, and a liberty candidate for president.

This really can happen if we want it too. We truly have the numbers and the will.

Good luck RJ Harris.

Help is on the way

Can't wait for the June 19 money bomb.

RJ Harris has inspiring

RJ Harris has inspiring things to say on the infowars interview, and his moneybomb message is a practical solicitation. I didn't find anything self-serving, apart from the fact he's trying to get people to give him money to win an election. But that's the process, isn't it?

I solidly agree with his idea of unifying anti-establishment candidates.

FIRST THING TO HAPPEN for RJ and his fellow freshmen on entering the halls of Congress is to form a libertarian caucus to resist the party's pressure.

Oh yes, I know what happens to the freshmen. Comes orientation day, and the whips come around glad-handing them, promising luncheons with the big bosses on the committees. Then they "tell em how it really is" in Congress.

Next thing you know, the honest freshman who came to his seat on promises of reform is partying with the lobbyists and voting on nonsense his mother wouldn't approve of.

That's not necessarily what RJ will do. But its happened plenty of times before. And that's why I think people on the Daily Paul and other liberty-minded forums ought to support him and other candidates like him, and remain a source of policy and pressure to keep on the straight and narrow to restoring liberty and responsibility in Congress.

That way, come time when the whips with lobbyists shuffling behind them enter his office with their sweaty handshakes, RJ and the other peoples' candidates can put a copy of the U.S. Constitution in their palms and say with a smile, "Read up on that, if you would."

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

First day

My first day; I am walking past all of those people and going straight to Dr. Paul's office. He will be able to tell me who can be trusted and who can’t. Only a fool would not seek his mentorship. It is a hard fact that my opponent has all the "experience" the problem is he has all the wrong kind of experience, experience selling out the American people. At this point bringing in a rookie is far better than keeping someone that owes as many favors as he does as has been made evident by his votes for socialism at the behests of the corporate interests that control his vote. Thank goodness our Freshmen have the good doctor to show us the ropes so that we can say "no thank you" to the whips. When lobbyists show up bearing gifts I will tell them that they can tell me their ideas on the merits or not at all and that they will only be considered if they pass Constitutional muster. Oh and there will be no private meetings...they can speak out in the open or not at all. There will be no luncheons with lobbysts, no junkets and no favors. Any lobbyist trying these tactics will be thrown out of the people of the 4th district's office. We are going to win this race with your help not theirs, so when I get to Washington they will have NO leverage on me whatsoever.

It's a pity Mr. Harris

It's a pity Mr. Harris doesn't support the full rights of women.

Killing the innocent is not a right

If you are referring to my position on abortion, you are in the wrong forum for two reasons. 1st. Dr. Paul, the namesake of this website, is ARDENTLY pro-life. Who better than he, a man who has delivered over 4000 babies, should know when life begins? 2nd . Your right to privacy does not extend into another’s right to life. Our rights do not go so far as the infringement upon the rights of others. The baby’s 5th amendment right to life, which requires due process and equal protection under the law, cannot be infringed by your right to privacy unless you can provide the child the due process required. There was a time when slave owners thought that their right to property could not be infringed by the slaves right to 5th amendment liberty…are you now prepared to make this same argument? And don't even run and hide to the Supreme Court on this one...because that same body was as guilty as the rest of the counrty allowing slavery to continue. See Dredd Scott.

Very compelling argument

If I may, I'd like to take the other side for a moment. I'd like to state that I am no fan of abortion, especially when it is used as a form of birth control.

Firstly, Dr. Paul is pro-life, but has stated clearly that the federal government shouldn't be making this decision; it should be left up to the states. Dr. Paul also has a long history of voting against legislating morality; he voted against a ban on transporting minors to get an abortion, against a law to make it a crime to harm a fetus during the execution of another crime and even voted against the Sanctity of Life Act. Dr. Paul doesn't let his personal beliefs get in the way of his responsible stewardship of our legislative process. Secondly, a woman's right to privacy isn't the issue, I don't believe. I believe the point is the woman making her own medical decisions. Whether or not life begins at conception or birth, the law is clear - we become citizens of this country under one of two conditions: we're naturalized or we're born on US soil. Ergo, a fetus has no rights as a citizen until they are born, or until we amend to Constitution to allow for automatic naturalization in utero. The Constitution applies to citizens, not to non-citizens, and the rights guaranteed in Amendments 9 and 14 should supersede any generic set of "human rights" applicable to non-citizens while we are all residing in the US.

BTW - using the 5th amendment as an example is kind of disingenuous - that Amendment covers trials, convictions and eminent domain. If I were to argue your side, I would make a case that the Constitution outlines a specific set of rights for citizens and does not overturn the basic rights outlined by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is universally enforcable - by treaty - that the individual nations act in the best interests of the child. It could be argued that abortion isn't in the best interests of the child, and the host nation is bound to prevent it in the interests of honoring the treaty. Using a UN treaty for this argument might be distasteful to some, but it works.
