Obviously, this wasn't a bottle rocket or other signaling device.... someone took a shot at an airplane and missed.
Connection to the Air France incident? Any rumblings about groups taking credit for either? Our beloved MSM isn't helping any...

but with only one eyewitness account from the pilot that we know of, could he have mistaken a meteorite?
