But of course under a state controlled system, even if they do write a constitution like Mao did in the People's Republic of China, it is just a show... Freedom of speech, freedom of occupation, and freedom of religion do not exist in dictatorships of the Marxian design, partly because the ideology is so intrisically tied into the elements of dialectical materialism and Darwinian theory transferred onto society as survival of the fittest through class conflict... The state must sell its propaganda and control information, decide what workers are best suited to do.. But before I waste time with tons of examples... Fascism, communism, socialism: Look State controlled capital is almost always very similar in result, slavery of the masses.

I knew I had seen this definition before on Wikipedia...If you're insinuating that our bailouts is a "loan till payday" for Americans, you should be in the "chosen one" forum. Besides no one here that has been well educated on the evils of runaway credit practicing, would agree that payday loans are another means to oppress, control and encourage spending beyond our means. I can understand the concern for a socialist influence in media
however Russia Today is only ONE of foreign press that i like to look at occasionally for what the world is saying about us. There are others. I don't by any means suggest that our press should be government run (although to some extent it is...). Or displays a "socialist" opinion as well (even though it happens...). But sometimes the opinion pieces are very interesting and not chopped down to a five sentence story, like many US papers and internet news like to do on a regular basis.

We'd have to admit that all that is somewhat formally published is because someone wants to promote their " handlers' " point of view, but at least the interviewer tries to keep the percentage of bullshit below certain mark, 75%, maybe? 95%?
Here (US MSM, especially recently) the mark is about 5-10%, and this is what makes this interview sound so much different... Maybe not absolutely true, but "quite true", as most here would agree...

Yeah I think there is an American version of this Russian joke
arguing about who is more free, it's tragic that we are able to draw conclusions about being more, or less, socialist(fascist,communist) than another foreign citizen that actually comes from a socialist, communist, fascist country. I appreciate an opinion from a Russian citizen about this article and RT in general. I agree, that the truth is somewhere in journalism, but I know one thing for sure...it seems that other countries can give two cents (censored for family programming) about Britney Spears and the family whose photo ended up in Prague, and would rather publish world news, politics, economy and so forth on their front page. I guess I'd like to know that journalists would consider me an intelligent, concerned and proud American, than treating me like void, obsessed, shopaholic, irresponsible waste of oxygen. I guess that's why I like to read the foreign press more, they have more respect for their reader than American journalism does.

Not a big Danorino fan, but I have to agree here... Russian government has been pretty controlling since the red takeover, but I think the important thing is that outside press is more OBJECTIVE! This is what is key, the American press is bought and sold yes, but with the intent of keeping average everyday Joe in the haze about the directions of America, without proper critique and the kind of debate possibly online and in public... This allows their words to be taken as truth, even it half truth, distortion, or outright lie.... So yes, Russian press not biased probably not... In a better more experienced and objective place to comment on the growth of economic fascism in America, most absolutely speak on our Russian comrades!
