I only disagreed that RP's movement is ineffective; I think the r3VOLution ideas are just beginning to filter out to the whole world and, in time, will change the course of history.

We in the freedom movement clearly have the best minds and ideas; we can't be stopped.

Am I the only one here interested in island building?

We have all these frustrated libertarians, and we have three giant oceans full of rocks and sand. Sand dredging artificial land mass was a reality in the early 1900s.

So, while I like the idea of floating island seasteading, I like the idea of creating new land mass in shallow ocean waters even more.

I think it's highly feasible.

The real trick, I think, would be getting some guarantee of sovereignty rights over seabeds. In my opinion, they could be bought--from a relatively poor Caribbean country off the tourist grid, like Guatemala or Honduras.

If you could square that away, building a virgin libertarian island country would be easy.
