Pretty Good
I wish people would have to be educated to vote. Most people wouldn't even get what this video is pointing out. At least to me. It makes the point that Ron Paul voters are educated voters. But unfortunately in a democracy even the distracted, unaware,clueless,or misled media controlled sheeple can vote. Does make democracy kinda scary. I know many people I wish weren't allowed to vote. When I hear people say they are voting for someone because they are handsome or they are a woman or they were in a war. I have to agree with Socrates.
Oh my ! Looking at the comments I see many of you missed the point of the video. It wasn't including Ron Paul in the way it was Mccain, Obama, ect. Watch closely and look below them. It makes a point of removing RP from that category. Ouch! Sorry paul4one they are shredding you like the constitution.
Childishness
Socrates said, “An honest man is always a child.” But I don’t think he was exhorting us to behave childishly, because he also said:” As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.” So I would guess he was urging we approach the search for truth with the questioning mind of a child, in a mature manner of humility, recognizing we have a lot to learn.
May I commend to the adults here that we suspend some of our corrupted know-it-all, learned behaviours to try to approach vexing questions with innocent inquiry and open minds.
Plato, the student of Socrates, wrote his Symposium as a light hearted but sophisticated dialogue at a drinking party, not all that different than a perky forum discussion here at DailyPaul, to depict various ascending viewpoints on questions no one can resolve for you with captions and bottom line decrees. And you are defending the video.. but I believe that is becasue you have said, Ron Paul is not your leader, so it doesn't affect you, the way it affects those of us who do choose to follow Ron Paul's leads.

For the record, I am proud to NOT be a "Ron Paul follower." I do the very best I can to be a "lead by example" and not follow anyone. That does not mean I do not have a great deal of appreciation for the way Ron Paul leads by example.

That's not what my Great Books says about Socrates
according to Plato. Socrates was tried and found guilty for corrupting youth. He was homosexual and that had something to do with it, but he was also very well LOVED and he was given several options to spare his life, which he chose to kill himself.
Socrates and Plato defined what is a Republic, and that led to Democracy by Aristotle and the Federalist Papers, which were under the iunfluence of native Americans and their federations and form of Democracy, where the women elected the chief.
It's a twisted history and if need be, easily disputed.

i believe it is the book 'nine faces of christ' where socrates is discussed.
plato and socrates were both ancient mystery school students ... so students of the ram.
socrates could have become a christ before jesus did .... but he had this little addiction to boys he couldn't get over.

I buy the govt stoy on 911 as much as 911 truth. Both are misleaders. You want to think the demolation is key to "truth", TRUTH, whatever you what to call it, I'm not stopping you. As for Socrates, what I have on him is from Plato, who wrote "The Republic", and mentioned democracy, but it was an absolute one, not the one his student, Aristole came up with... and since Aristotle was Platos' student, many people combine them , but Aristotle did not write about Democracy to avail Socrates.
Perhaps instead of spending your energy attacking me personally, you can educate me? Please, show me something besides hate.
