Mike is right. Trolling is not the same thing as "disagreeing".
There are people I disagree with who are absolutely sincere in what they believe. They are NOT trolls.
A troll is NOT someone who has a different version of the truth. A troll is someone who doesn't care about the truth and is not posting from a desire to get there. They have other motives.
If you suspect that someone is trolling, ask them what brings them to The Daily Paul. Find out what they believe in. Talk about what they want to achieve. See how they answer. That is the real litmus test.

And I've been on the DP for quite a while, not that it ought to matter any. My political views have grown, and the DP was one of the sites I gained insight from. Your adolescent attitude only serves one purpose in my opinion, and that is to make you feel like a big man when you come across opinions contrary to your own and facts you simply can't deal with. You've chased me around with lies in numerous posts, refusing to actually debate, dodging question after question, and generally just showing me and anyone else reading just how childish you actually are. And you expect your behavior to actually make people WANT a government that YOU could be a part of, so that YOU could use that tool for your purposes? And you call me and other people seeking honest debate and seeking true liberty 'turds'? Great way to further your position and opinion.

Jefferson had a great analogy the other day...these people pick up thier divisive s*#t ...put it in a bag...light it on fire with an antagonistic title and leave it on the DP doorstep. Someone always has to open the door and start stomping ...which spreads the poo all over the porch! You know, shouldn't we know by now if it looks like poo.... smells like poo then it probably IS poo ?? When you come out and stomp you are letting them enjoy thier pranks!! Just shut the dang door and let it burn itself out !! Rather than being frustrated with the pranksters ..at this point I am getting more frustrated with the stompers!!!

I have been here nearly two years. I started reading
this site for one reason only, to gain knowledge about Dr. Ron Paul. I guess that is why the website is called the Daily Paul. Dr. Paul doesn't get discussed here much anymore. The site has been clearly hijacked and readers who have spent years in research to the point of seeing the bigger picture, have no problem identifying the antogonists. Unfortunately, readers who are still in the process of becoming aware may not. This is the goal. Create confusion and division. Unfortunately, those aware readers engage the antognists, myself included, and the forum becomes void. The antagonists succeed. Some posters believe they need to fight them in an effort to support the truth. It won't work for the simple reason the antagonists will never admit the truth, ever.
I don't send people to the Daily Paul anymore. The antagonists succeed. I don't visit the site daily anymore. The antagonists succeed.
It's called the Daily Paul. Only issues directly related to Dr. Paul should be posted, period. The antagonists would then go away. I guess that's up to the website owner and the moderators.

it's just that we all cannot agree as to what that is. Imagine the debates that raged during the creation of the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution. I know Madison recorded the Constitutional debate, but imagine being there...and here we are...debating the different ways in which various people see their Liberty being tread upon. If we could only each leave our shell and agenda to fortify each other we'd have a real revolution on our hands, an organic revolution. But, alsa, to each his own, this agenda or that must be the direction, damn all else. If we cannot see the connectivity of all things, then we will never truly understand freedom. Leave the labels behind folks, they mean little in war.

I hate that word
troll. Every time it is used it makes me cringe. I know they are here and the way I see it, they help us define and challenge us to practice what we preach. Dr. Paul does not call his challengers names, he has a grasp of what he believes, states it and leaves it up to the listener to agree or disagree. If we have confidence in our beliefs then let it stand on it's own merits. Those who challenge will get discouraged if they can not get a rise out of you and both will have food for thought. The beauty of the Daily Paul was that we are SOOO different, I like that, it forces me to think and to define who I am not what I was taught or told. No one has to agree with me and I don't have to agree with them. It's all good. Just my two cents.
