Two of the biggest creeps on the republican side now that Specter is gone...I'm shocked.
Tom Coburn was once listed as sympathetic.....
Any OKlahomans know why he's not on board yet?------

Cornyn & Hutchinson of Texas will only sign if the pitchforks...
........are being manually placed within their bodies. Nothing that helps the citizens of Texas (unless the citizen is filthy rich and donating tons of money) maintain freedom will ever be done by our Senators. The day either of them sign, I am going to buy ice skates and move to Hell.
Well you know what to do...
Sharpen your three pronged pitchfork.

Thank You
Thank You for adding the reelection dates for these congresscritters. We will remember them.
Get on board.
And they call themselves conservatives?
Steve Pearce is not New Mexico's junior Senator.
New Mexico's Senators are Jeff Bingaman and Tom Udall. Neither have co-sponsored S. 604.

you are correct
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Do we have a list to show
Do we have a list to show the Senators who have signed on as co-sponsor, similar to the list that we have for Congress?
Here is one

Senator Grassley called
Senator Charles Grassley
Washington DC 202.224.3744
Des Moines 515.288.1145
Cedar Rapids 319.363.6832
Council Bluffs 712.322.7103
Davenport 563.322.4331
Sioux City 712.233.1860
Waterloo 319.232.6657
BTW- Off topic. I just received a letter from Mike Huckabee urging me to donate to Senator Grassley. It seems Grassley is worried about reelection due to the democrats in power. Rather than blame the democrats, perhaps he should look at his own dirty laundry. Senator Grassley voted for Bush's bailout late last year, FISA, Patriot Act 1 and 2. I, for one, am looking to see if he will cosponsor S 604. He wrote me a week ago about S604. His answer was his amendment to S 896, to increase the authority of the GAO to oversee the actions taken by the FED. That it includes the Fed's actions to provide subsidies to financial institutions, such as Bear Stearns, American International Group, Citigroup, and Bank of America. He said he also sponsored an amendment to the bill that increases the GAO's authority to oversee TARP. I don't know. Compared to s 604, it sounds kind of watered down to me. But I am no expert at reading these bills.
I don't believe S896 calls for a full audit.
A full audit would not only audit domestic Fed dealings, but their foreign dealings as well.
Tell Mr. Grassley that his answer regarding his amendment does absolutely nothing to address a full audit and that's what you want...a full audit of the Fed. And what doesn't he understand about a "full audit?" As opposed to his appeasement amendment.
Nothing short of a full audit of the Fed will appease the American people.
