Video: C4L's Steve Bierfeldt Interviewed by CNN

Earlier today, CNN interviewed C4L Director of Development Steve Bierfeldt regarding the recent lawsuit against the TSA filed on his behalf by the ACLU. As you may recall, Steve was detained by TSA officials in the St. Louis airport shortly after our first Regional Conference back in March.

We've been told by CNN that the interview may air during Wolf Blitzer's The Situation Room today.

Update : The interview is scheduled to air around 4:35 pm EST, and again in the 6 pm EST.

The TSA may call it "detaining a Selectee" but I considered it an opportune time to educate them about how our right to travel is being compromised along with everything else. Most were quite receptive and were polite. It was about twenty minutes of questioning. A supervisor eventually came out and looked annoyed that she had been summoned. She waved me through and everything was cool.

Great coverage for both C4L and for apple iphone - did they sponser this because they mentioned it constantly and I didn't see the brand mentioned in all the other non-cnn descriptions of the account.

Anyhow, its good news to see this problem with TSA get attention and C4L and the ACLU pursue this head on.
