The Average Voter Doesn't Want The "TRUTH" They Want Entertainment!
When I attended the Texas State Republican convention for the first time it was quite an eye-opener for me to see that most people did not care one iota about the political process or about remaining true to the wisdom of the forefathers of this once great nation. Instead they were there just to be entertained and anything related to Ron Paul or the like was frowned upon as something that was simply getting in the way of them being entertained, like walking in front of the television and telling a kid to clean their room and finish their homework while they're trying to watch their favorite show.
At the convention there were many sheeple. Most of them seemed to be there just to play high school catchup Houston shopping experience with their fairweather friends listening to that dreadful song "have you forgetten 9/11" playing on the loudspeakers while gorging on deep-fried everything and taking eerie delight in the narcissistic Rick Perry video of him and his wife and kids talking about his weird hair obsession a la Jesse from the tv show "full house."
I think if we are going to win this thing we need to make Ron Paul and this R3VOLUTION the most entertaining thing that has ever been conceived. It must be so entertaining, so on fire, that it becomes impossible to look away.
Your thoughts, ideas?
- my title was based on that hilarious simpsons episode where Marge is trying to sell houses and tells her boss that her clients deserve to know the truth to which he, Lionel Hutz, replies "there's the "TRUTH" (dark overtone) and then there's: the truth (happy upbeat overtone)."

I was also there.
What i remember it was all about defeating the Paulites and then trying to convince us that obama was way more evil then mccain.I also remember none were really impressed with mccain and they didnt even show one propaganda film about him.
