I JUST got a bad case of APATHY back!

The debates had to be the worst thing for me to do. It completely drained my energy. Anyone else feel like me?

DONT WORRY

This is NORMAL. Did you think they were going to give him a welcome party? He woke alot of people up with the NAU/CFR question. He turned there conspiracy smear on there heads!!! LOVED IT. Overall he is doing fine and is gaining in popularity. LETS WORK HARD ON THE TEA PARTY!!! Keep fighting em. WE ARE DOING JUST FINE!!!

We and Dr. Paul have goaded the media to overreact...

This is just part of 'Then they fight you'. Besides the lack of questions, the most glaringly obvious moment of media bias was Cooper yelling 'Time! Time!' trying to shut Dr. Paul up when he was answering McCain. Every other candidate was given plenty of latitude to speak over 30 seconds. Every viewer noticed it. When you try and silence someone, people will wonder what you're so afraid of. You almost get to feeling sorry for the poor bastards. They keep swatting at us, and we just keep coming. They zig, and there we are... They zag, and there we are. There is no escape. Resistance, to coin a phrase, is futile.

Thanks!

I have been monitoring the MSM news sites (ABC mostly) and have seen a steady stream of backlash against McCains attack on Ron. Please thank your relatives for the generous donation. Seems their not the only ones, judging from the RP website.

Pissed me off!

These debates are a bunch of BS! There is no debating that I can see during these MSM "Top Tier" promotions! Sure Ron Paul did great when given the chance but the fact that he is still getting next to no time during the "Top Tier" 2 hour commercials is a serious reason for concern.

Actually I was opposite. I

Actually I was opposite. I know he didn't get the fairest questions, and the least amount of time, but I just love RP in these debacles.

I especially liked the CFR/NAU question. They were trying to paint him as a conspiracy cook, but he handles these types of questions so well, he just turned it right back at them. As a matter of fact, I think this may have been the most important question asked out of the entire debate. I bet there are thousands of people whose jaws just dropped when they heard that NAU is for real and that its not a conspiracy theory. I bet a lot of them are researching the only candidate who openly speaks about such taboo things.

The only thing I wish Dr. Paul would have done is highlight the fact that most candidates on the stage are CFR members, along with democrates, Bushes and Cheyenes. That really would have hit a home run.

agreed

I wish he would have called them out too, but he is just so principled, he only discusses people in terms of their philosophies.

And the way McCain attacked him, that was ridiculous. It was like OJ Simpson trying to talk down to Ghandi.

Hurray! new donors!

Relatives of mine just called to say they saw how badly biased the debate was and have decided to give $2300 each to Ron Paul!!!

I feel better this morning

I went to sleep angry and depressed. But surfing this morning I just saw the Ron Paul compilation you tube on Lew Rockwell and feel much better. I think from now on I'm going to skip the live debate and just watch the compilation the next morning. At least until the competition is eliminated.

This post and its discussions actually CHEERED ME UP!

I admit that I too was bummed out about this debate. As we all know it was by far the worst one yet.... And the question about "we all know you are not going to win the republican nomination" was a perfect plant by someone (who's a&& should be kicked). BUT... after reading you guys post, I am more cheered up! I say, dont get mad, get even - DONATE MORE ON DEC 16TH TO MAKE AN EVEN LARGER EVENT...
just breathe deep and wait... wait... only a little over a couple of more weeks and then before the NH primary - WHAM A $10 MILLION DOLLAR DAY FOR RON PAUL....

Me too =)

Which is why I told people not to delete it.

We need to discuss how we feel and get the support to continue. But boy that debate was disgusting.

No!

I was at Ron's speech afterward and I thought he did well at both. A friend that I had mentioned Ron to several months ago left me a message on my cell phone. This guy never does much more than play video games at 40 yrs. old. Anyway, the message was that "Just watched the Repub. debate and Ron Paul kicked butt!"

For the most part, I think he did too. We'll see by the donations in the next couple of days.

No, Hearing the other

No, Hearing the other candidates and realizing just how dangerous their ideas are and the support some still give them, makes me realize I'm not just doing this for kicks. It has nothing to do with making me feel good or being on the winning side or rooting for my favorite team. It has to do with saving my country, preserving my rights and creating a future for my daughter.

Register people to vote

Don't be apathetic. Very few people get involved in primaries. So your opinion will have a much greater weight in the primary than in the general election. Take advantage of it!

No amount of blimps, money or media coverage will matter unless it translates into bodies filling the voting booth on election day.

Are you registered to vote? If not, then the best way you can help out the campaign is to register. Today.

Do you know other Paul supporters? If so, then make sure they are registered to vote. Get their number or email. Call them on election day and help make it easier and more likely for them to vote.

Does your state have a Caucus? Many do. If so, then contact someone to figure out how you can attend.

Get off of the internet, out into the real world and take action!

I think he still did really well.

These debates are so subject to obfuscation that given the format we should be happy they threw any questions at Ron Paul. He seemed bolstered by his new found support and more confident, but also more pissed off at the others up on stage and I believe the whole process. I believe it is very telling that they posted a question asking about his independent run, especially when the questioner basically said, please save us Ron, PLEASE!!! I thought it was good.

By the way, I’m Canadian and have just tonight (because admittedly I lacked the balls to do it earlier) created a ‘Canadians for Ron Paul’ facebook group. Check it out and keep spreading the message.

Thanks for this forum, you guys rock!

Get over it.

Your country needs you. Take a freakin' aspirin and get over it.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

Romney Imploded

Mitt totally imploded when he was the first to answer from the guy with the Confederate flag. Not so much on the issue, but he just showed himself to be such an "empty suit" there.

He was speechless, hemmin' and hawin', and looking for the right words.

IF Romney drops in the polls, this is the moment where he went out.

Guliani had his in this debate when he attempted to "lawyer-ball" the Second Amendment. "Reasonable restrictions" got a long boo from the audience. Stick a fork in it, his campaign is now toast.

Choked on the bible as literal word of God, too

Gov Romney should not have stuttered and stammered on such a canonical issue. The choke is because he's spending too much time processing all the debate coaching, instead of speaking honestly and instinctively as the thoughts popped in his head. His lack of ease about speaking about such a core/personal issue is troubling.

All that said, it was a stupid question that has no value in a presidential debate - perhaps it was meant to trip him up.

See footnote 8 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/a_of_f/1/9#9

One of reasons why Dr. Paul will be our next president is because he is a great man and trusts his instincts. All great leaders do.

I thought Mitt looked like

I thought Mitt looked like he was pandering the whole time he was up there. He was trying soooo hard not to say anything confrontational that it made him look weak. He looked like he was unable to take a stand on any issue except not being required to check for illegals when you hire a contractor.

I think Ron Paul did great.

Of coarse they ignored him a lot, but I've gotten kinda used to that. Overall though, I'm very pleased with his performance and Ron Paul looked great on stage. Also may I add, that Ron Paul got half the boos and half the cheers, which to me means that he has half the vote while the others split up the other half of the vote. Ron Paul can win this.

Ron Paul 50%
Mcromney, Ghouliani, Huckcrado and Huntson split up 50%

Oh and Ron Paul's campaign video kicked ass!!

Yep! At least they gave Dr.

Yep! At least they gave Dr. Paul the honor of saving the BEST for last, regarding his very CLASSY campaign video!

Don't worry! here's some positive news.

I live in Phoenix, AZ. North Phoenix. On the outskirts of the city. Not much around here.
After the debate, my dad told me he saw a pick-up truck with a Ron Paul Revolution sign in the back window. My boyfriend came home from work and said one of our coworkers asked him if he had put up Ron Paul signs all over her neighborhood. He said, "No, he's catching on, though" and smiled.
If you're really mad, then donate some money. $17.76 to Ron Paul, for standing up to MSM tyranny.
And smile. It releases endorphins. You'll cheer up. :)

Dr. Paul did great in this

Dr. Paul did great in this debate. He was clear, consise, and got a softball question at the end which he turned into a commercial for the momentum of the campaign. People always want to be part of something big and he tapped into that tonight.

Our guy did great. Don't sell him short. Have your friends watch the debate again. I was a little put off at first because I think he should have a chance to answer every question (of course) but the second time I watched it I realized how well he did.

I don't have apathy, but sure ain't happy about the

hit-piece called Debate on Wed.
Here's a real deal, just keep on going, and trying. Try to be nice, though. I lost it with a friend and a relative tonight.
They are something else, and can't be "saved", to see how things really are.
One guy , has changed his mind 3 times in 3 months. went from disliking Guilliani, then Romney, then Huckabee, but now said, after the debates, he was not impressed with Ron Paul(I mentioned youtube, speeches... refuses to do any more research, due to this one set-up "debate")... and will vote for anyone other than Ron Paul.
Of course, the other guy was a Democrat, and voted once for Ross Perot, but that was because he was not a Republican, and he wanted change...and since RP is Republican, he won't vote for the party, due to Watergate 33 years ago.

It's rough out there. This debate was set in motion for the Republicans who think like my friend.... just keep on working.

There are people receptive of RP, just not at CNN, Fox, and all the other shows on radio, pretty much.

It's upsetting, yes.
Should we stop having signs in the yard, or our cars, or talking to people? No.
I have spoken to people I know and they listen, but don't reply. Will they check out RP? I don't know, but I act enthusiastic, say my bit about RP, and wish them a good day.
Anyhow.. this is all rigged, we know it, and there are groups we will never convert, unless RP goes War-Crazy(which he won't).
Let them be, move on, and talk to the one's who will, at least, listen(even if they say nothing in reply).
They might actually check into RP, and may get a few converts?
Have a good week.

No offense (take none to my reply)

This guy is unmovable in his convictions.
I have spoke to him for 3 + months about Ron Paul, and, well, all he hears is "Anti-War"(vs Just War...iirc, this is the terminology used) from Ron Paul, and no matter how many debts, links I send this guy..nothing.... puts a dent in his" Paul is a kook, wants us to run from the enemy" mentality of his.
Very sad, to be honest. Outside of politics, this guy is a very nice guy, friendly, helps people out when they need a hand, etc.... but I told him he is a Neo-Con(to look up the term), not a Real Conservative( weren't they against war mongering at one time, still are, the few that are left)?
He took offense to it.
Yep. RP is "the kook"?
We know better. Most people live in some weird version of reality(in their minds, when it comes to politics, it appears).
I still like the guy, but talking about politics/RP... well, if I spoke to a tree, I would get better results!
That is that sad part(and not joking, either, sadly).
As I have stated a few times before, on prior posts, Honestly, in my own observations, people will worry more about what's for Supper, than who they will vote for. They go " war- mongering Republican", and whomever gets the nomination, they vote for(with little, or no research).

It's exasperating, indeed!

What I did say was this, "You disagree with 1 out of 10 things RP says, and won't even consider him, yet, the guy you liked tonight, you said you like maybe 3 out of 10 things he has ever said, and he's your candidate now?"
Oddly, he said' Yes, he would make a good president"(despite the fact, last month, he disliked Tax Hike Mike...said no real conservative would vote to raise taxes).
Anyhow...
it's mind numbing.
I will continue to talk RP, but not to this guy, anymore.
He's beyond reproach.
Have a good week.

double post..sorry

Hell No !

I will channel that anger into energy and that energy into more votes ! We are in the fight of our lives and if you don't get hit a few times your not fighting ! Its time to hit back !

PLEASE LET THIS THREAD DIE

What's with the suppression

What's with the suppression of people expressing themselves? A lot of people were pissed after watching the debates.

What's with

I felt the same way. I was disappointed. But when Ron made that last statement I was rejuvenized. He said it all then.
