Rand says, "Raising money in politics has two purposes: the most obvious is you need the money to campaign but the second, sometimes less obvious reason, is to send a message. If we can get to $100,000 by June 30th, that sends a louder message."

We cannot compare
Dr. Rand Paul's money bombs to Dr. Ron Paul's because, obviously, Dr. Paul was a national campaign. Most of Rand Paul's money really needs to come from inside his state in order to really get him elected.

Rand is running the race to win...if winning over Ron Paul supporters was all that was needed, we wouldn't need to raise money. You must realize Rand is doing everything he is doing for a reason, and that reason is to WIN the election!

I think we should see how high we can push this money bomb. The better Rand does, the more likely the opponents are to drop out, and the better position he'll be in to fight the next steps of the battle.
Of course that doesn't mean we stop calling and writing the critters on HR 1207, S 604, or doing any other activity that might be useful.
The enemies of freedom should feel like they're being nibbled to death by ducks. Lots of ducks. With money.
