They can civilly sue the officer that unlawfully entered their home. Take this to the courts again and get a settlement. It will help keep bad law enforcement in check.
You know what sucks? I have some friends that were in and are still in the military and they act the same exact way. I call them out on it all the time and how unconstitutional they are acting and they get all pissed off. I tell them that they are so angry with me because they know I'm right. haha... Stupid dumb asses.

When people lie their eyes go to the right side of the head and when they recall a memory it's to the left side (unless they are left handed - then it's reversed.)
That's how you can tell if you are being lied too. If the eyes travel to the right they are creating the story. To the left...recalling a memory.
The cop also broke the law by breaking down the door of the home and harassment. He broke protocol as well by perusing the suspect into a area where the man could have been armed. he's lucky he wasn't shot.
The law had been overturned by the supreme court and was no longer valid. they tried to arrest him on an unconstitutional law. They have a case to sue the pants off the police.

My method is employing truth. When I think someone is lying, I rephase to when if it is true what I say, they will laugh.. they can't help it because truth can be very funny, it's what many comdians use to write jokes..
I also think, sometimes people share lies they believe to be truths, so I don't know if the looking to the left or right works in thta if someone believe a lie they are sharing, they would look right, and YOU would think "truth", eh?

Flying the flag inverted is a distress call, and leaving it that way is rather like crying wolf continuously. The cops and guardsmen were out of line, but so were these two.

The cop was WAY out of line, but the fact that the city cop stopped to check in on them because it is a sign of distress should have told them to take it down. Put up the "Don't Tread On Me" flag or some other revolutionary war flag and they could have made their point without the hassle.

Yeah! More and more videos of libertarian button-pushers are getting on this forum and I won't even watch them anymore. I can already tell that these folks were out to get noticed and raise hell for the heck of it. Kind of like that Pastor guy who got tasered at the checkpoint.

No, no. They were covered by the media at the time of the incident and the neighbors corroborated their story. This happened during the campaign period. When a photo was taken of them inside their home about the incident, I remember seeing a Ron Paul for prez sign in the background.

Look at them while they tell the story. I'm not saying it's not true, I just don't believe a word coming out of their mouths. They are doing ALL the signs of people who are lying---really bad. I know it's a nice story and that's why everyone accepts it. I made a fake video once too, it went viral quick. A lot of people were very mad when I revealed how easily fooled they are. There's a lot of people seeking attention and there's a new easy way to get it.

Again another useless comment on the DP thanks mike. Drugs or lying. Guess you are an expert on people huh. Keep that shit to yourself. How about their hair style? Was that ok mike or was that the reason the sherriff (if there was one right) went after them
I think its that futon couch thing they are sitting on...its forcing them into that stoner, couch potato posture so they look like druggies. But this happened in 2007.

Texas vs. Johnson
No one here had 1st Am. Law in college?
A man burned a flag and Supreme Court upheld his right to do so.
But I agree with Mike, they were odd storytellers.

Why don't these people get an attorney? Isn't this at the least a civil suit? Don't we have and lawyers on this blog?
They said that they already "plea dealt" with the DA.
Probably no lawyers or case foreseeable.

Pretty scary
When the man describes how the ex-mil sheriff was quietly, methodically stalking him in his own home... that's freakin' psychotic!
