When it's all too much

Sometimes I get so tied up in all the bad news I can't even think, I just get out with Nature.
I had a real bad day yesterday, I reconnected with Nature today. It recharged me. When it all gets too much, it calms me and I can come back stronger. The things I was stressing, turned around when I wasn't looking and I came back to a better world.
I can't change the world, but its a lot easier to reach people with a refreshed heart. Just wanted to say it, don't mean to waste your time. I hope it warmed your soul like the sun warmed mine today.

I had a grandson
my son got married, my father in laws brthday, fathersday, had to go stay with the gandbaby so mom and dad could get some sleep. He was great for me. But I didn't sleep. Just couldn't take my eyes off him. Just watching him breath. I have a huge garden that is now overtaken with wire grass. So a break (oh kayaking) would just make things harder. To bad I won't use herbicides or pesticides. Not to mention I am being attacked by Zuccinni and cucumbers are coming on strong. I am so not ready to can and freeze. These zuccinni look like watermelon.
What do you want with your zuccinni tonight?
Oh I forgot my birthday. Happy birthday to me.
I did get a grand child. What more can you ask for :)

My Moon is in Cancer. My grandson started walking on his own last weekend, bday 07/07/08. My grey hairs started showing about then.
This world is tough, but life is good. I'm gonna keep doing what I do, my grown kids used to think I was crazy for it, now they treat me like a queen. I wish they thought I was so smart when they were teenagers.
Just saying, we gotta hard way to go. It helps to reconnect. I meditated for an hour last night on goals and it made changes overnight. Call that what you will, but don't knock it til you try it.
