FREE LAKOTA BANK--HONEST MONEY FINALLY???

0 votes

I just learned of the Free Lakota Bank.

This seems like a fascinating idea which the FED probably can't touch because American Indian land is soverign.

They DO NOT use fractional reserve banking. They do not believe in it. They back up any money you store there.

Here are a few comments from their site...

Our Currency
Our first priority at the Free Lakota Bank is to help America convert from paper to silver. As awareness grows regarding the fraud that is paper debt money, so does the demand for silver. Thus, silver is increasingly hard to find, and the price gap between paper and physical markets grows wider each day.

Privacy
When you open an account at the Free Lakota Bank, there are 2 specific things we do not want: your name and your social security number. It is not our job to track the movement of our clients' money; we do not want to know who is depositing, where it comes from, or at what rate it enters or leaves our bank. We believe money is anonymous and not subject to tracking.

The FLB and their coins have been discussed here before.

The majority of people on the DP believed that this was not a good deal.
However, I thought that it was because you are buying into a system of currency as well as silver and gold coins. In addition, free vault space for, I believe it was, 200 rounds or more kept at their bank is a very good deal, with a 7% return.
I bought some and have some in their bank. I dealt with Rob Gray. He is a RP supporter and will get you what you need. I've had no problems with orders or receiving my purchases on time.
The price per coin is now higher I believe, so think about what you are after.
If you just want silver rounds, then don't them them from the FLB.
I hope that this helps.

You've delt with them before?

I'm inclined to prefer a banker that has read Atlas Shrugged.

7% return in terms of silver?
IE... 7oz for each 100oz you allow them to loan out?
Can you elaborate on your experience dealing with them?

My Shelfari page

This 7% return is for a year time CD lock.

That is ongoing now. The free vault space alone is of value by itself. I will let everyone know about the 7% return. That is what they advertised. I don't know if this deal is still put on their website. Their bank is being built in their Reservation, now independent nation.
Purchasing their currency is expensive. Perhaps that is how they defray the interest that they give.
