Paul was the big winner... by far.
1) More time for other candidates really exposed their lack of intelligence. Rudy and Mitt recieved substancial more time.... which was great!! for Ron Paul. Tonight, they were exposed as babbling fools.
2) Notice the candidates switching to the views of Paul. Again, making them look like wafflers and Paul commanding the stage. Huck now wants to get rid of the IRS. Rudy now proposes that the federal government stay out of the pro-life issue.
Paul was direct to the point and you knew where he stood on the issue.
We are soo used to seeing Paul on line at our fingertips. So, don't get confused between his performance and lack of Face time. The more the media trys to hide Paul, the better he will do in this campaign.
Paul's Video and closing statement was EXTREMELY important. Basically, the whole night was stumble after stumble for the "Top Candidates" and Paul sealed the deal at the very end. There is a movement and you can join us. Find out why people all around the nation are speaking out.
Ron was great
I thought overall Ron was really great tonight. It started on his first YouTube question about "kooky" conspiracies like the CFR and NAFTA Hwy. (Of course that's what the journalists chose for his question). His response that yes these things exist, not as sinister hidden conspiracies, but as different ideologies. He described the globalist agenda compared to his belief in a sovereign USA and it was so excellent! Only Ron Paul speaks of this, and people notice.

Your first point is spot on. The Jules-McPhoney battle at the outset showed how little room either has to judge the other on the immigration issue. They are just bickering hacks.
Paul really did do well, looking back. I just wish he would have said Kurds instead of 'those people up north' and been able to be more forceful in his retort to McCain's attack.

Romney looked like GIANT panderer... he did not take a stand on any issue except "im better than rudy". He sucks and it showed big time tonight. I think he was the biggest loser tonight.
So many of the questions I was hoping for them to give Ron Paul a chance to answer went to the others. But when he did answer a question, he did well.

It didn't go over badly. He was put spot on for every question... and didn't have the luxury to babble like several others.
But, His points came across well. All other candidates talked in circles and out both sides of their mouths..

they were unfair to him with time tonight, but he did well. I think this will help him, ultimately. I think Romney was most hurt by tonight and Huck did well.

Congressman Paul did a great job tonight. The one time he was attacked, by John McCain on the Iraq war and isolationism, he had the perfect retort. The smile he was giving before he spoke was classic and a highlight for me.
I also agree that the additional airtime for "Top Tier" candidates made them look more like buffoons than anything else. How Mitt is polling 1st in Iowa is beyond me! Cant people see through this guy already?
Although Congressman Paul didnt get alot of airtime, when he did I think he did well. I hope the audience was paying attention!

You give a person enough rope and they will hang themselves. i thought the candidates looked bad. they were terrible at answering questions. I liked when they asked the guest who were in attendance "did you feel the candidates answered your question? "NO" Ron is so streight forward he always answers the question. He always looks good, but I would have liked to see him get much more talk time. I wish he had 5 minutes to explain why we need sound money- that was something I had no idea about this year and its so amazing when its explianed to you. As well as bringing troops home and then getting rid of the IRS and replacing it with nothing. could you imagine how amazing it would be to our economy- little to no inflation and no income tax. People would have so much more money!!! These i deas are simple and constitutional, I never had a clue but once its explained its not tough to understand. I did notice the other candidates following Rons stances on abortion- let the states decided. That was all new answers for them tonight. Reverse Rowe VS wade. bunch of copy cats. I love all the video all you talented people make, if someone could make a video of the candidates being copy cats it would be great!! I have taken so many videos from here and emailed them out to people and have a lot of RP supporters now.

Despite a 4.2% talk time through the whole debate, I would have to say RP won big time. He exposed all of the other candidates for who they are. Nothing more than prostitutes willing to say whatever they can to get a buck. The fact that they are publicly mimicking RP show that we are winning despite the polls. Not to mention there was not one attack on his character unlike the other candidates. This will only make his victory that much sweeter.
