Where was Sanford? Having an AFFAIR with an Argentinian woman!

0 votes

According to Drudge, Sanford admits to having an affair with an Argentinian woman. This is bad bad news for us hoping he was going to take the torch from Ron in the future.

Full story at Politico

South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, his eyes red, admitted to having an extramarital affair Wednesday with an Argentine woman.

"I've been unfaithful to be my wife," Sanford said at a state capitol news conference.

It began very innocently," he explained, saying that developed into an adulterous relationship in the past year.

Had an odd thought driving to town

I have noticed that Illuminati women tend to stay behind the scenes and act like Stepford Wives. I wonder if he was a good guy, and got set up. The comment from his wife about him "earning " the right to try to resurrect the marriage just boggles the mind. He did NOT take her on a second honeymoon, he did NOT take the hike he claimed he was taking, he DID run to the country of his lover. And THAT is how he got back into her good graces?

No, that does not work for me. However, Illuminati women do not give a crap who their men sleep with, so perhaps he earned his way back into her heart by shooting his political career in the foot. The LAST thing the Illuminati want right now is another Ron Paul, no?

As long as I am out here in left field, let me toss this out there: What about Bill and Melinda Gates. He was doing his thing, getting rich, working hard, then he met her. Suddenly, he is into "charity." His "charity" is currently figuring out how to turn mosquitos into living syringes. That does not sound the least bit sinister, now does it?

One more? Sonny and Cher. She is simply not that pretty or talented. (Neither was he.) There is some pretty interesting stuff floating around that he did NOT hit a tree skiing, that he was beat to death because he was about to blow the whistle... I can't even remember which load of BS he was on to. Cher shows up and does her "grieving widow" bit, and never looks back. Now, I had a boyfriend in high school who punched me, He is not my favorite guy. If I found out he died under mysterious circumstances like that, I would dig for answers, wouldn't you?Not Cher, she has a show to do. And she will show you whatever you want to see, and that is a GREAT distraction.

Wow -- As an Individualist I'm going to slap my own back

I'm like 10 for 10

I predicted last year that Sanford was not the man -- disregarding Ron Paul's endorsement.

I'm going to ask you guys to "vette" all the candidates running on a Ron Paul endorsement -- beginning with the biggest DP-rallying candidate Adam Kokesh.

I'd like to go 10 for 11 on that one -- but I don't trust him; anyone that has any collectivist views (like his catholic characterization of the Pope -- which is so so passe collegiate overt generalization) must be avoided.

Individualism is far more than just an ideal -- it's is the only "moral" philosophy.

This is why I've been pushing this phrasing and education -- this is why there is only one consistent Individualist in all of Congress.

An "true" Individualist is loyal to his word -- Sanford is not an "Oathkeeper" -- are you sure Kokesh or any of the others are?

Careful not to injure your shoulder, there...

I believe the entire politics game is a distraction. That said, we need to learn to find our BEST candidate and support them. We all have warts, folks.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

Paul4Won: I'm the only one qualified to praise me -- hahahaha

My shoulders are strong from repeated pats.

I was raised as a Christian and one who has always understood (at ever growing levels) Individualism.

Jesus said, "know ye not that ye are gods?" -- I always took that to mean that I'm "potentially" Christ. I'm sure there are vast metaphorical and literal differences between the meaning and the reality of that statement. Further Jesus said, "..the kingdom of God is within you."

Once I "got this" -- I left the Church and began meditating and no longer associating with religion or churchianity -- as did Jesus.

All that being said -- "I'm fully justified in self-congratulations." hahahahaha

Plus -- I'm right in this instance.

If you lobby to become King Welfarist you cannot have "warts"

If you are to abdicate your liberty over to an elected leader -- then hire the Jesus-Level Inidividualist -- Ron Paul is such a one. We need 24 Ron Paul types in California and we can turn this ship around -- as long as the population (at least 7,000,000) can "see" a "real" Ron Paul-type.

Our eyesight not our dermal condition is what needs improving.

So What????

So What????

Did he lie about it under oath?

If not, I'm inclined to say it's none of our business. This is something for him to work out with his wife and family.

Just Shows Ya...

If you are gonna try to rock the political boat with the powers that be you better be pretty squeaky clean or you will get trashed. Personally, without the affair addition, he would have been somewhat damaged goods going into the primary with the stunt of going AWOL.

Nothing adds up...

The only information we have is what comes out of our very controlled and bogus media. and, I'm sorry. but, I am not buying into any of this garbage. we are fked. the guy was forced to take the bailout money...and they knew he might be the next candidate...and he ruins his career going AWOL and having an affair???
Am I the only one that doesn't buy this Main Stream Media version of truth?
this is crap.

In truth,

Is this entire affair (sic) a contrived plan to take Sanford...

down, i.e. Elliot Spitzer?
He was the only one who refused the stimulus money! I know another conspiracy or is it just another strange coincidence.

In truth,

OMG

so so disappointing.

He is a neo con.

Can't believe people accepted him as a 'Libertarian'. He is about as Libertarian as Bob Barr.
And yes, this 'stinks' to high heaven!

forget POTUS

this guy might not survive his term as governor!

This sounds fishy to me

1. why didnt they use this against mark during all the last fights?

2. The news media "tracked" him to atlanta but couldnt find out he went on an international flight.

3. He really has a history of voting with integrity (anti stimulis, anti real ID, trying to audit the buerocracy here, voted against iraq thing in 98).

as more details comes up I am sure this is going to get fishier.

Keep your eye on the ball! this is nothing but a distraction

Whats important is not a SC Governers affair but a nation in economic peril. Leave this junk to the tabloids!

For Freedom!

For Freedom!
STUGOTS! To the high and felutent establishment!
Paultian Powerhouse!

So he made a mistake. Who

So he made a mistake. Who cares. Just his record as Gouverner is importent. If he fuck's around, it's the problem of him is his family. Nobody's else.

(No subject)

FISHY!!! The Wife speaks

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090624/ap_on_re_us/us_sc_govern...

Got that? She KNEW about the affair, and asked him to leave and stop speaking to her. So, he runs to Argentina, where the girlfriend lives. But now, somehow, he has earned a chance to save the marriage?

Now, I am sorry, but no, no, and hell to the no.
He could have gone hiking and earned that.
He could have gone to Russia and tried to start WWIII and earned that.
He could have gone ANYWHERE in the world and earned that.
NOT TO ARGENTINA. That is the ONE place that any normal wife would have said "You went there? Go to hell."

I don't know and will probably never know the truth, but there is a definite odor about this...

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

it baffles me also why he went to the country

his girlfriend/lover came from. He said he drove alone and has been there last year. Why not go to the Bahamas or so, or Bermudas? Maybe he wanted to see her a last time and say goodbye, she may have been emotionally attached to him as well. For his wife especially, who managed his campaigns etc. it must have been terrible.

you can say good bye

over the phone... and it doesn't take four days...

"Unite Or Die"..

Feel sorry especially for his wife and 3 sons

What a shock. he was part of Ron Paul's Liberty Caucus during his time in congress and voted mostly with Dr. Paul, not seldom against his own party on principle. He has resigned from the RGA, but this may probably also mean the end of any prospects for the presidency, just as for sen. John Ensign as well.
I really like him, he is smart and sincere but not int he same legue as Dr. Paul and although well meaning, I think especially on foreign policy he may have been more lead by Newt Gingrich than Dr. Paul, as he is still quite inexperienced and you tend to look up to the party leader. You need someone with a stronger character and more independent minded, like Gary Johnson, who is more experienced than Johnson, closer to Dr. Paul and also share the foreign policy of Dr. Paul. The fact that Gary veto has vetoed even much more than Mark, from both parties, Gary's fiscal record for the state of NM during his time is also much better than that of Mark's in SC.

This just reaffirms that Dr. Paul is irreplaceable really and the blessing in disguise I see is that this can also help persuade Dr. Paul to run again in 2012, with Gary Johnson campaigning with/for him and Gary would be an excellent VP in every way and eventually - after Dr. Paul's 4 year term, the excellent successor, not only for the Ron Paul movement, but also for the GOP. Dr. Paul's age is NOT going to be an issue, although he is a year older than McCain, he acts and thinks as one 10 or 15 years younger than McCain. And for a successor, or in case he has to resign due to health, Gary Johnson would be a very solid and strong pair of hands to carry forth. Gary has a very interesting story, also with climbing Mount Everest, establishing his own business plus he probably speaks Spanish as well. Also, on the monetary issue, i could not see Mark Sanford has having nearly the same type of insight, interest, articulation as Dr. Paul and as would be needed to answer all questions for an alternative and come up with strategy.

(Oh, and forget about Ventura as president, maybe a position in cabinet or first US ambassador to Cuba!).

anybody got a picture?

Argentinian women are beautiful!

Interesting twist

Now we know why the media hyped this story so much. The whole story didn't make any sense until now. Someone obviously knew about it. Maybe he didn't play by the rules and this is his punishment, who knows.

I don't get why the people here are in tears about it.
He was probably one of the best Republicans, but that's saying more about the republican party than about him. He was no Ron Paul, not even close.

Absolutely!

As the song line goes, "set up, like a bowling pin."

And he is a true example of the best the GOP has to offer...aside from someone with REAL integrity, like Dr. Paul.

you know...

you gotta be up to something pretty bad when admitting to an affair is better than telling the truth...

This is a great blow to the Republicans and evangelical right both... a two-fer!

"Unite Or Die"..

Sanford

If I was a public figure, going against a group of generational conspirators who have feverishly been attempting to establish a global fascist dictatorship for at least 100 years, I would assume any and all communications are monitored 24/7, and I would assume all my associations are also being monitored. Also I would not accept any food or drink that I did not see prepared, I would take back-up security with me when I would go to the restroom, and I most certainly would be leary of getting on an airplane. Sanford has to be as dumb as a bag of hammers to think his indiscretions would go unnoticed.
