The Zapruder film shows this odd head jerking double take by the driver. There are people claiming that film was edited, and this seems to support that claim.

Unless this is faked, this seems like it is very newsworthy even today. Secret Service assassins are a threat to National Security, no?

This is a case of mistaken identity. I too was first impressed by this until I viewed another youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DguBcLpWBS0&feature=related that explains and shows that it is light reflecting of of the head of the guy riding shotgun.

Be sure you all watch the William Cooper link he placed at the end of the video. Cooper had excellent info on the assassination. I know Cooper is reliable, as opposed to NWO shill Alex Jones, because he was murdered by the NWO only months after he correctly predicted the events of 9/11. I think every patriot interested in restoring the republic needs to give Cooper a look.

i for one believe it was the driver but i can't tell for sure
to be fair, you can't get more "accurate" of a video than the original. this whole thing about hi def is nonsense and is probably an indicator that somebody fudged with the video to make it appear more as a gun.

I remember Bill Cooper, before he was killed he told us not to believe video anymore. With all that can be done it is impossible to distinguish truth. However Bill used to give seminars in the late eighties and showed this film... actually the copy from Japan that was untouched. I found it very interesting and it led me to March on DC in '91 with Bill to audit the fed. It has eventually led me here with all you nice people.
The driver was not the "shooter" but the fail-safe for the marksmen. I still find this story credible. It was the first thing I saw that WOKE me up. It started me down the rabbit hole.

I have not been far enough down the "Bill Cooper" rabbit hole, I only know bits of his story. I know he is widely respected, and that he did say he thought he had been fed disinfo about aliens, did not know about his comments on the video.
I miss him too, and hardly even know why.

The fatal error of the driver was to slow down,...
rather than speed up, just at the perfect time of the fatal head shot. The question is was the driver involved? There were apparent marks on the edge of the sidewalk/gutter to alert the driver where to slow.
This is another conspiracy theory.

trained when their are shots fired you put the peddle to the metal and get out of the Kill Zone.. They are not trained to turn around and look behind. This is a big clue that both Greer & Kellerman we're in on the HIT !!!
I've seen it and watched it often
There is smoke over the car. I don't think there would be smoke except right where the gun was shot. Also, Jackie tried to climb out the back until the SS guy told her to get down and she followed orders. Trying to climb out the back was totally indicative of knowing that the driver fired the shot.
So many people know all of the answers that we don't know and they all keep quiet. Amazing. I guess everyone loves someone and just won't risk it. But seems like someone would leave information for after they die, but none of that comes to the surface either.

This link makes the case the film has been altered since driver Bill Greer brakes, as evidenced by the occupants being thrown forward, as opposed to what your video calls ducking, but the limo keeps moving at about the same pace. Actually, they SAY he braked twice, but the video only shows them being thrown forward once. Agent Kellerman is probably just reaching for his radio the first time they claim Greer braked. But when he did break, he must have braked hard because the occupants were tossed forward hard, but the car just keeps zipping along at about the same pace.

What I found interesting at 1:21 is when the limo drives by but the bystanders act like they never saw it.

I am sure that video is not a new developement. Oliver Stone, I believe, used the same type of enhancement for his film JFK. If that is a gun, it sure looks like it is aimed a little high to hit Jack in the head
To me
it looks like the shine on the hair of the passenger. I am not convinced that the driver did NOT fire the shot, but I am not convinced that I SEE the gun either. I watch the shine of the passenger's hair and it seems to stay the same. But I see a puff of smoke and I see Jackie headin' for the hills. That tells me the driver fired a shot.
Old and Debunked theory
The driver clearly does not shoot Kennedy however that does not absolve him of guilt. The light source that appears to be a gun is definitely glare from the passenger's hair. That same glare is present in the same shape well before it looks like the driver is pulling a gun. I admit to being fooled a few years ago by this. Looking at multiple versions of the Zapruder film it is obvious the driver did not shoot.
He is looking back to keep the car at a slow enough pace to allow the snipers to get a clean shot. The first shot was fired a few seconds before the kill shot to the head which should have meant that the driver should be driving away at a very fast speed. Instead, he turns around multiple times and waits until Kennedy's head is blown away to start driving away and fast. If he were to drive fast through the kill zone there is a better chance of him getting hit.
