Just out of curiosity, who on this site is on here to be proactive, and who is on here for entertainment?
I would just like to get an idea of people that just enjoy coming here for the stories, and the people coming here who like it because they enjoy being proactive. If you are on here for entertainment, that is your right, and we are glad to have you. Also, I am wondering what makes a person want to be proactive on here, and what makes a person not want to be proactive. We have three hundred people on here, it would be interesting to see the divide. This is not to ridicule anyone for not being proactive, I am just wondering the kind of impact this site is having on the movement. I have been on this site for one year and twenty one weeks, so you don't have to worry that I am out to hunt down proactive people. You can track my history of posts if you would like first.

I don't do
enough. The only effort I employ is to get info here and take it to another forum. The forum is very small so I am not reaching many people. I am not educated and I really admire some of the posters here, like Republicae. I have learned alot from here and would like to meet other supporters in my area, Fredericktown,Ohio.
Our rep is Zach Space {D} and he votes the party line, it would be exciting to get involved with a movement to oust him. Of course we need to find someone to run and with my lack of education and police record it is not me.
I did get a good idea from quiltingsando and that was to use my email and send info to family and friends. I will try that and see how that works out.

During the campaign I was very active
I've been on DP just about 2 years. ( A long time ago some glitch chopped about 5 months off my days lol) I was a very good girl. Refused to get involved in 9/11 or other "controversial" threads while our man was on the battlefield- just kept with the Ron Paul planks because I dint want him to look nutty. Was very involved in the delegate process at the end of the campaign. Have been moderately active in regard to several movements since the election. ( Reckon I got about 30 people to ask our reps to vote against the bailout - people who had never called a rep- that sort of thing) Then I came to Australia- so Im somewhat limited to email etc- and to be honest Im experiencing a sort of "intensity burnout" atm. Unless its a life or death matter- Ive become more attracted to the "bs" threads. At this point Id rather follow sentinels research or get lured into some cool UFO documentary while writing emails to my contacts advising them to avoid vaccines than to whip myself into a lather over what Ron Paul has planned between 3:15 and 4:30 on the floor- unless my participation is crucial. So if Im to be honest- I guess Im here to screw off lately. If we run out of places to sit- I will offer my chair: )

I think it is hard to focus now because we don't have one thing to focus on anymore, like Ron Paul. Now we are being hit on so many fronts that we all kind of have to pick and choose our battles. I am also not as active as I used to be, but find myself addicted to the daily fax/phone/and email bombs. They actually seem to be working, so it is nice to be able to judge the progress. If you have about five minutes each day, maybe you could help us fax, call, and or email the congress critters of the day with us. We have two new ones each day. It is fast, fun, and effective. Keep up the great work, we are on an uphill battle.

A mix, here...
On certain topics I am proactive. On other topics on this forum I am supportive of the time taken by another in the movement and make sure that they feel appreciated. On a few topics it is relative entertainment, depending on my mood.
My biggest pet peeve is someone asking me to describe myself in 300 words or less in a little text box, so that others can group me into an appropriate category.
Life isn't actually like that, if you truly live it.

I guess a better question would be
What makes a patriot, become one? I just cannot understand how some on here just don't want to stand up and get involved. I can't seem to stop myself from getting involved. I spend money that I don't have on money bombs, etc., most the time I cannot control myself from being involved. Kind of like the dailypaul annonymous. I would more or less have to check myself into Liberty Annonymous. No judgement call from me, just want to know what pushes people into action. Keep up the great work.

I could go into that, but let your imagination run. Just because YOU don't think they are involved, doesn't mean they are not!!
I think people
get motivated when it is something that hits close to home and when they think their efforts will bear fruit.

Well, I used to be
more pro active not so much lately. I am trying to become informed and educated, because we learn something new here everyday. I digg, send stuff out to people by email. I talk and share the information I learn here. Sometimes I call the traitors in Washington but I wonder if it really helps? I donated to our candidates (not as much as I would like). I am trying to prepare for the worst but the worst just gets worser, so I feel beaten down.

Sometimes...I'm conflicted..
Even during the whole process.....even when fighting my enemies....even when you win in court or something else....
And I'm conflicted not just with things I learned....

I remind myself that while I'm fighting the New World Order I am immensely conflicted during the fight....Because I know Israel is at the top....and they are why it has gone so crazy...they are why World Leaders are talking globalization....They are why the Vatican has gone off the deep end & gotten addicted to nation building...
So when I get in those moments it's like Lord of the Rings again.....I realize I have to fight against the NWO yet I restrain....I don't want to because it's Israel & they deserve mercy....but yet they don't....and I continue to fight realizing all this was preplanned...
And yet when I'm forced to hesitate, I feel sorry for the New World Order and that's where they get my weakness.....'I'm not against you, I say.' I'm against what you've become...
At that point....I have the strength to continue....and for all those times I have always run into the same conflict...in myself..Perhaps will only be resolved when the darkness is lifted....When New Jerusalem comes...

I just believe with any type of education, it changes a person. It has to change who, what, or how you are to be truly educational, or else why learn from it if you do not use it? Education most of the time causes some kind of action, or we would not educate ourselves.

What do you mean by "proactive?" I think the DP is an important source of information of the kind that is suppressed in other media venues. That's not entertainment to me. It's staying informed.
