eBay seller claims certified Kenya birth certificate
Says copy sports embossed seal, signature of physician

WASHINGTON – The eBay birth
certificate saga continues.

A seller claiming to have a certified copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate issued in a Mombasa, Kenya, hospital in 1961 is back up on eBay telling her story. Six previous times the posts have been removed.

Even when the seller offered only autographed pictures of those allegedly responsible for securing the document, the posts have been removed.

The seller now insists a YouTube video will be produced, presumably including images of the document. Then, the seller says, the full story will be given to WND.

"So now eBay removes my listing for selling a picture?" asks the latest post. "That doesn't sound bizarre to anyone?"

The seller claims in the latest post on eBay that the birth certificate contains the name of Obama's mother and father, the name of the physician present, along with a signature, and that it is "an exact copy of the original 1961 Mombasa hospital birth certificate. Includes 2009 embossed seal of the hospital in Mombasa. Contains a 2009 signature from staff that issued this copy with embossed seal."

It also allegedly includes a "right footprint."

Eligibility bill wins more co-sponsors

Proposed law would require proof of future presidential candidates

By Bob Unruh

Rep. Marcia Blackburn

U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican, has become the sixth co-sponsor of a proposal by Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., that would require documentation of eligibility from presidential candidates.

She has joined Reps. John Campbell, R-Calif.; John R. Carter, R-Texas; John Culberson, R-Texas; Bob Goodlatte, R-Va.; and Randy Neugebauer, R-Texas, in support Posey's H.R. 1503 plan.

The bill's provisions are simple:

"To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to require the principal campaign committee of a candidate for election to the office of President to include with the committee's statement of organization a copy of the candidate's birth certificate, together with such other documentation as may be necessary to establish that the candidate meets the qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President under the Constitution."

It also provides:

"Congress finds that under section 5 of article II of the Constitution of the United States, in order to be eligible to serve as President, an individual must be a natural born citizen of the United States who has attained the age of 35 years and has been a resident within the United States for at least 14 years."

The sponsors' goal is to have the bill become effective for the 2012 presidential election, and it now is pending in a committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Freedom is another way to God...A corrupt government is a straight way to hell.

ebay...best and most

ebay...best and most reliable of everything. WTF

How did he...

Get a hold of his real birth certificate? Isn't that almost impossible?

SteveMT's picture

Sam: Isn't it also almost impossible that we have never......

seen the BC in the first place? I do not know which one of these circumstances is the more ridiculous!

I'd like to see this guy's piece of paper. I don't think that Obama will give his copy to us. This is the only option right now. The bloggers will take this thing apart once it is released and determine if it is the genuine article or another fabrication.

Well- in the US- you need a reason

You need to provide some ID to get a cert copy of your own, or a good reason for getting someone else's ( a child's or bed-ridden family member etc) Who knows what the Kenyans need. The pictures of him seem to imply that he may have some connection. Also in Kenya remember, the village claiming his birth is vocally proud. They're not trying to hide anything. Im sure the hospital has gotten calls from Obamas people asking them to refuse requests- so yeah its odd that there would be a stamped copy leaving the building. If its real, there is no doubt it was acquired under false pretenses.

I'll believe....

I'll believe it when I see it. Seems pretty darn co-incidental that someone can just, well obtain a birth certificate. That usually takes many months, a year or more to accomplish.

SteveMT's picture

All the more reason to want to have look see.

Is it real or fake?

Jinc's picture

Well yeah- Ill beleive it when I see it too

( like the ark of the covenent, the ufo O'hare footage that Dan Akroyyd has etc etc etc)

In the US it takes wandering into the hospital you were
born in with a few pieces of ID and paying $14.00, 2-6 weeks if you need to do it by mail. Its not hard at all in the US to get a cert copy of your bc, divorce decree, death cert- whatever. Ya just pay a fee and wait. People are human. Maybe theres someone in the records dept at Obama's hospital that could be persuaded to sneak the original to copy for $5K US, and then a notary to stamp it. ( Its not a notary's job to question the doc, just to stamp that its authentic) In Smiths photos there is someone I assume is Kenyan. Maybe this person has a connection, or he himself has access to records. Pretty tempting to sneak a file when you KNOW people in the US would pay millions. People in the US hacked Obama's passport info during the election, remember? It can be done.

Then again..

You'd almost imagine it would have to be some kind of forgery, right? Unless somebody is spending top dollar for it I suppose.

You certainly can't just waltz into the embassy. It would require tricking them out of there with something of high value, most likely obtaining it in a shrewd card player fashion since they don't let those records leave the places they come from.

Jinc's picture

yup

either its a forgery or someone in the records dept snaked it. The fewer people that have access to it, the riskier it would be if it was an inside thing. Tell ya what though...even if it IS real there will be a campaign to discredit it. They will release a bogus version and dissect it and make people think that its been debunked. I think after this latest sideshow there will be even more questions than answers- and my confidence in seeing this be the end of the Obama presidency is exactly none- but the effort needs to be made.

Keep the faith Jinc. Remember Watergate.

Nixon went down over a lesser crime.

Ron Paul is my President.

Ron Paul is my President.

Jinc's picture

Well I hope alot of people download a copy of his YouTube vid

Looks like itll probably get pulled just as soon as its posted. Im starting to get a gut feeling he's for real. I think he's a compleat a$$hole who'd steal candy from a baby, but who just happens to have Obama's bc. Hopefully we'll soon find out.
