Anderson Cooper did a GREAT job..
Submitted by GeorgeWashington on Thu, 11/29/2007 - 07:33Anderson Cooper did a wonderful job last night as ordered by the MSM. He succeeded at isolating Paul and making him look like Jack Lemon in "China Syndrome," right, but crazy. That is what happens when you give a candidate 30 seconds to respond to a really complicated issue. You have a candidate that will try to get 40 minutes words into 30 seconds, thus getting overly emotional, forgetting names, stumbling, and looking unelectable.
Why did they invite Paul if they are going to cut him off and ignore him?
Cooper and CNN did what they do best, throw crazy questions to Paul so he can look crazy, and tongue and cheek questions to others, like baseball questions, what would Jesus do, do you read the bible.
Cooper was hired to isolate Paul and his growing support, and he did just that. It was sham my friends, a real sham, but don't expect the people running things to do anything else but that.
What a sad day for America. MSM may have won the battle but not the war. Now its up to us to make sure they we win the war.

Ted Turner Vs Ron Paul
The founder of CNN, Ted Turner donated $1 billion dollars to the United Nations. What are we supposed to expect from this debate?
I just hope that Google realizes that CNN tarnished one of its brands and doesnt allow someone else to control them next time.
I forgot about ol Ted
Ron really threw down the gauntlet against the UN. Bravo, what courage!
You're right, this is the angle. Write google and let them know how foolish they look for allowing the blatent cherry picking of user videos at their youtube site.

I wish Dr. Paul....
...would have interupted and said "Hey Hucky, how about THOU SHALL NOT KILL." I know interupting isn't his style, but thats what I would have said, lol.
Change the Title
this is counter productive.
CNN - Hard Hitting News
They've spent the last 5 minutes talking with Laura Bush about Christmas cookies and their dogs. Laura Bush practically endorsed Hillary Clinton during the interview.
Whoever
picked the video s did a terrible job. I gave 12 questions personally that had more impact and relevance than the ones asked to Ron Paul. For example, I asked if we should be fearful of Russia because of their recent invention of the vacuum bomb and selling these bombs to Iran. If we should therefore invade Russia immediately and who would decide to go into Russia.
Considering they had to sift through thousands of videos and YouTube is Ron Paul country, I highly doubt that the douche bag in charge of picking videos couldn't find more relevant videos.
you're assuming
the MSM cares about relevance to citizens.
what is relevant to MSM is keeping the status quo of a plutocracy.
I hope you don't think they
I hope you don't think they were actually going to pick questions that matter. They picked fluff so as to keep the American people dumb and ignorant.

I expected nothing different
Anderson Cooper; son of heiress Gloria Vanderbuilt, Yale educated, spent two summers interning at CIA Langley studied Vietnamese at the University of Hanoi for a year. Total eliteist and NWO mole.

Who was watching?
Don't worry about it. Nobody watches primary debates anyway. Seriously, how many people in this country actually watched this thing besides all of us?

Four coworkers thus far...
I've had four coworkers thus far walk in the door this morning and ask "How did your guy, Ron, do in the debate last night?" Meaning, they didn't watch.
The only thing the debate did last night is strengthen whatever "base" people belonged to, I don't think it changed anyone's minds about whatever candidate they are supporting.
But it was MORE that obvious that they wanted to give Mike Huckabee an orchestrated boost, from the softball pitches to the shots of Chuck Norris (repeatedly) in the audience.
Regarding the after-debate comments...I "used" to respect Bill Bennett :-(
That's what I say.
I never ever watched primary debates until I got involved in supporting Ron Paul. I always thought it was a waste of time. And consequently, I still do.
The Presidential debate is the only debate that is marginally worth watching - well ... maybe not even that much.
The only debate, so far, that was run in a proper debate format, was Morgan State University in Baltimore. It was professional and the questions were relevant important questions. AND everyone got to answer each question.
That aside. DELEGATES PEOPLE!!!! Everyone must apply. It was sooooo easy here in Maryland. Delegates will decide this! We've all done our best to get the message out and donate money, now we have to really COMMIT. How bad do you want it?
You are probably right. The

Don't mistake Incompetance for malice
CNN - anderson Cooper, did a terrible job picking the questions. Many were democrat slanted, and they didn't mention Iran, Patriot Act, or the decline of the dollar - Cambpell Brown pointed this out.
If you think Cooper is that
If you think Cooper is that stupid. This was deliberately done to isolate Paul.
Cooper knew exactly what he was doing. He accomplished what the MSM wanted. Keep the 3 candidates they want in the spotlight and downplay Paul.

On a similar note
I think Paul's campaign did a fantastic job picking a video.
Showed that there is a ton of support to a lot of people who probably think there isn't any.
Terrible
I said it in another thread, I'll say it again.
Cooper was terrible!
He had no control of that debate, people were running all over him.
Don't underestimate Cooper.
Don't underestimate Cooper. This was deliberate and planned. They want to downplay Paul's success and potential threat for the nomination. Cooper is a smart man and he did just that. Don't think this was incompentence. He was in COMPLETE control of the debates, just what they wanted.

I agree -
He is Gay ands they set up the gay guy (from Hillarys campaing!) to cause problems.
Further they sifted through thousands of videos - the ones they chose were designed to produce a certain effect: show each candidate in the worst light, get them fighting each other, and help the Democrats win.
Part of that was to give Paul the stupidest questions possible, nothing like how do we save the Republic?
Notice how they cut Paul off just as he was starting to expalin?
The MSM is out of control.
What did happen though..
I think Ron did pretty well regardless. Mitt and Rudy really brought themselves down last night. Rudy on Gun control and Illegals and Mitt on just about everything he said. I expect Rudy to drop in real polls.
Rudy made small talk with Ron Paul before the debate and said "Wow, you have a lot of supporters outside." and Ron said.. "It's only the beginning."
Also, last night RonPaulRadio.com was interviewing people in the audience from the debate last night and the typical neo-cons weren't able to fill the place so they had to let more Ron Paul supporters in. I'd love to know if this was true.
