Not much happiness in my world - you feel this way?

It's the 4th of July and I feel gloom. One of my closest neighbors had a moving van in her driveway today. She is 300k "under" on her house and is walking away. 5 houses in my neighboring street are in short-sale, and 5 more are in foreclosure. My equity is draining by the day, and my home, that once had $350 in equity, will be underwater at this rate. Do I sell the "family" house? It's more than an investment. It's my HOME! Did I mention my wife gets a breast lump biopsied Monday? We skipped the fireworks display....

Been taking Lunesta for as long as I've been a member on this site. Dark rings under the eyes are my new "look". On top of it all, The Rolling Stone article reinforced within me that the government is paying their elections back with the destruction of their constituents. And, they are not through with driving down our standards of living, which will lead to more stress and sleepless nights.

I love you guys, but it sucks being, "awake" sometimes.....

Pray for God to help you and then get out there

and help yourself. You are one of us and you have the fight in you. Look for what is actually working for you and put all you have into it.

You have chosen a high teaching. You must be an amazing soul.

I know you can do it...God does too.

God bless you, Billy.

Sorry to hear of

your situation. It sounds like you need a plan. A house is just a house a home is where your loved ones live. Since we know what is going to happen live WAY BELOW your means. My husband and I are making preparations and hope for the best. Good Luck and go to the park with your love and go for a walk THAT is a stress reliever.

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

Yesterday

we were going out to get a good seat for the local fireworks.
My husband did an amazing job to sqeeze our van into a very small parking space.
There was a yellow VW beetle in front.
While doing this he touched the bumper of this car.
One drunken young American came along and started yelling, that he bumped into this car blablabla (wasn't his).
Very soon we had three of those heroes standing around, two young, one older, all drunk.
In another time the people would have helped us getting parked instead of yelling aroung for nothing, especially the second two guys just joined the first one not knowing what happened.
This is how I imagine a Lynch mob.
Dumb, drunken idiots, who yell "kill the ni**er"
Nobody knows why,
They also wanted to write down our license plate, so I took a picture of the undamaged car, just in case.

My point is, we want to have a revolution? With those people?
Calling the cops, instead of helping Your neighbor?
I don't know.
If a real crime happens in front of their eyes, they run away.
But if they can rot together to harrass a couple on the 4th of July, then they are strong.

(btw. I know America is big, different everywhere, this is LA, we are a European/African American couple)

when asked what he thought of Western civilization

I should hope that would never happen to your family in the

community where I live. A shameful display of drunken ignorance should not be displayed at any family event . That behavior should stay in the bars where they can appreciate each others ignorance.

Depression, and sadness..

It happens. We have the choice to sit back, and do nothing, or make a difference. I have chosen not to complain, or let this get me down. I have chosen not to participate in the banking schemes, or signing up for any more licenses that our government deems necessary. Unfortunately, I live in California, and it sucks, but hey we have a garden.

Hey Billy how on earth can

Hey Billy how on earth can You take that crap. I went on it for a week and it tasted like gasoline every time I burped. I would seriously consider getting off of caffeine. Caffeine is a evil substance and can stay inside Your system for over 21 days. So if You are a big time coffee drinker You can get caffeine poisoning which will keep You up many a night until it gets out of Your system.

I was doing 10 cups of coffee a day for a while due to being bored and stress it took me over a month after quiting all caffeine to get a good nights sleep.

I've been considering that

I don't drink, smoke, do drugs (except caffeine). That should be the one to go.

Please consider getting OFF the Lunesta

If you want to do a bit of research on your own, it will save me from being blasted by the pharmacophiliacs.
If you want a friend to discuss it with, please email me.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

I know how You feel I have

I know how You feel I have been offshore for over 9 weeks and will be out here for another 3 weeks. I don't know when my next check will come in so I have to work like a mad man because tomorrow is so uncertain. I guess I could be like everyone else and only go two weeks but the prospect of loosing my house and family are very terrifying. I sure want to go home and to hold my little child but then again We are slaves and our lives are controlled by very evil people. I long for the day that I can see my child like a normal person but as long as I am in debt thats not going to happen. So I assure You I know how You feel and You are not alone in Your pain.

Keep on trucking sir

After every dark night is a bright day...

The direction of your spirit is up to your heart and your mind. If they are strong, your spirit will be strong.

You can do it.

Smile! =)

Freedom - Peace - Prosperity

I recommend carefully chosing where you live

I am almost always happy. So far the only effect the bastards have had on me personally has been to seriously decrease my savings / investments - which does seriously piss me off, but they have not been able to impact my daily life. I am absolutely confident that local law enforcement would be on my side vs any outsider (Feds). The sheriff & his deputies (if they allowed the Feds to do anything) would likely show up only to see the feds get their asses handed to them. I live in a relatively remote area (2000 acres & 20 people) and I'm pretty sure I can predict with near certainty the reactions of all these people to almost anything. I think I'm equally predictable to them Our community is "protected" by three eloctronic gates, that have only been defeated twice in 10 years, and we caught both of them. Here's one of those weird things... your insurance company gets weird unless you have involved law enforcement LE's involvement in these incidents was to call the perps and say "dude, are you crazy - these people will f you up, write a check that you know will clear!" We are almost all always packin. Our roads are private, which loosely translates to I have zero fear of driving home from a neighbor's while intoxicated - LE only enters my neighborhood by invitation, and only act upon their invitation - they usually turn down the offer of beer! The area I live in and the land I live on could be considered harsh. If you cannot take care of yours and yourself, the land will chew you up and spit you out. Cool - it keeps those that should not be here out of here! Some "city-folks" move ito my area and immediately tried to get street light on our 15 miles of private roads. This was easily defeated with the "light polution" argument. Darkness and silence are WAY under rated! Those people have moved back to the city.

Just about the only time I feel infringed upon is by the TSA at the airports. I do my best to avoid these encounters, but my daughter, her husband and my grandkids (9, 12 & 14) like me joining the on their family vacations, and the time with them is worth the TSA hassle. (Last year, Disnetworld, a 2 day drive vs. a 3 hr flight, and next week yellowstone & Rushmore).

My wife passed a few years ago, and now I have 3 Labs as my live-in family. My horses know the land better than I do, and I've yet to see the vehicle that can keep up with me and the horsies and dogs. And the horsies are very protective (probably better than the dogs!), and the legal penalty for shooting one of my horses is probably worse than shooting me or my dogs.

I'm sorry you feel gloom. Take a hard look at where you live, and the people that you live among. Excellent places to live within the US do exist. You will give up (be liberated from) the ease and comfort of corporate America (Walmart. BestBuy, Home Depot / Lowes, etc) - what a small price to pay for freedom. Freedom (not being able to do anything yuo want to do, but not being forced to do things you do not want to do) is my definition of happiness - and I am generally happy - and I think it is because of where I live.

Many people are depressed, it's not just us.

Ask the millions on prozac, paxil for anxiety, and countless other medications for sleeping.

We live in a world where we can't even sleep right anymore because something subconsciously is wrong.

Hopefully this week will be better. What's sad is that this is our independence day, and these morons in DC are making us interdependent on each other AKA socialism with each passing day.

Freedom and liberty at the individual level is taking a beating, and will continue on this path until something big happens to stir a revolution like in 1776. I just hope it isn't violent.

-------------------------------------------------------
Peace, Freedom and Prosperity should be our motto as Americans. Keep the American dream alive no matter how dark or difficult our circumstances seem.
Ron Paul is my President.

Peace, Freedom and Prosperity. Not War, Welfare and Bankruptcy.

Why do you think they call bad economic times a depression?

Maybe it is because of the psychological reaction some people have to the economic pain. Many people react with sadness, but many with anger also, which is why bad economic times can bring about revolution.

As far as hoping the revolution will not culminate in violence, I make the observation that if it does, it will be a response to the long train of violent abuse of our government against us. It is they who are daily committing violence against us, and it seems that the madness of those in power is growing exponentially.

"The deepest sin against the human mind is to believe things without evidence." Thomas H. Huxley

BillyBoy, I am sorry to hear about your circumstances.

On the issue of negative equity, I understand your frustration that you have worked hard to become a home-owner and found out too late that the deck was stacked against you.

The fact that a wealthy, economically savvy guy like Peter Schiff chooses to rent his home rather than buy it in the current economic climate is very telling. You've woken up to the monetary shell game and millions of other Americans are in the process of waking up too.

On the issue of your wife's health, I sincerely hope that her biopsy results show no medical problem. If the results did show a problem, I trust you would listen to the wise council of the many DP members who know far more than I do about natural health and big pharma.

On the issue of your health, might I be so bold as to suggest that Lunestra is not the answer to your insomnia?

Bear in mind, that I have no medical qualifications, just an abiding suspicion of the medical profession based on a mixture of personal experience and the anecdotal evidence of those I talk to.

What was it that Ben Franklin said about Doctors?

Anyhow, just be glad you're not British BillyBoy!

A belated Happy 4th July.

Fortune Favors the Bold

well, i'm not sure it helps, but human life has historically entailed much suffering. Still, even in difficult times, there is much to be greatful for.

Fortune Favors the Bold

Being politically ignorant is a lot easier, I must admit.

Tonight I went with my brother-in-law and sister to the fairgrounds of Le Mars, Iowa to watch a nice fireworks display. While I watched the rapid-fire pyrotechnics with patriotic music playing in the background, I almost cried—because it all represented a sick joke. I’ll tell you Bill, I have fought big government/bureaucracy for 30-some years. The light at the end of the tunnel still isn’t very bright. I was no doubt helping fight the Federal Reserve before anyone who has ever accessed this site knew what the Federal Reserve System was. Now this mafia is stronger than ever. But all is not lost; it can’t be.

I’ll keep you in my prayers. Keep looking up, my friend. I think things will get much better for you.

If you remember anything, remember the throw-away tools of war.

practice letting go of your ego

and keep waking up. your alarm has gone off, but you're not out of bed yet

Exactly correct....

We can win this once and for all when you remember that. Keep pointing out the facts to the people. They will wake up, bit by bit they are waking up everywhere and now Heidi plus Spencer and other celebrities are actually waking up more people than ever before......

Some days are different, set those aside and just get right back up. You can't ever be discouraged, that is, if you are a real American and not a couch potato you will never be slowed down.

Remember this, it's all within our sphere of selection to influence others & those around us are the ones who get motivated to achieve all things.

Waking up

made me want to kill people, so yes it has been rough. I am no piece of shit, and neither are you. None of us are. One day they will realize this is America, and our forefather's blood runs strong in us, we are all taking shots, those that are not in the club anyway. Smile a big happy smile that today you got your ass kicked for knowing you are getting your ass kicked. If you were still asleep, you would think it was normal. Now on Monday, you can decide to kick their ass back, and stay proactive. By the way, I am about to lose $40k on my house when I sell it. $40k 4 year ago value, so I cannot even do the math. Just keep running forward and use that anger to counter act what they are bringing. Screw my $40k and screw them, I am on a mission, and you should be too!!!!! Keep, keeping on, let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

I know I've been a real

I know I've been a real downer lately. The truth hurts. I don't think we can win this. I really don't. I have tried and tried and tried and all people do is laugh at you or listen then go on with their screwed up lives. Why not, after all there's nothing you can do to change it, right? That one really pisses me off. But most people really believe that if you don't get involved that your life will be better. Maybe mine will be once I leave the country (NE Brazil for me.) But it's sad to give up on the country you love, especially when you are not a quitter. Go to Hell lazy ass losers who have destroyed what was once the greatest place on Earth!

You Judge A Tree By It's Fruit, NOT its Flower

Don't know if this helps or not

but picture being awake back in the early 80's and 98% of the people you knew where not. It gives me hope to see so many people waking up to what is really taking place in this country.

My elderly pastor and I discussed this very thing yesterday

at the TEA Party! He asked if I would have believed this world we have now if someone had told me back in the early 80's?
Neither one of us were asleep back then---we were educated about the NWO (I have been a JBS member for 35 yrs or so) so we didn't just get our reality from teevee.
Knowing ahead of time what was to transpire didn't sink in like the reality of our country's plight today.

Exactly

Know exactly how you feel! To walk away or not? If you think about it though, the last 7 yrs just FLEW by...

I HEAR YOU...

I was happier being an uninformed American lemming who didn't know enough to care.

But then Ron Paul cured my apathy.

Now I'm mainly just pissed off most the time.

bump

for depression :/ had like 3 different comments prior to this one but they were all just too depressing to finish typing, heh.

It's like we are tired soldiers with nothing but more fighting

ahead. I was just on vacation and woke at 6 am every day. I would have loved to have slept til 10. I miss sleep and piece of mind.
