Seriously with such a very strong C4L showing in seattle, and this happening in their own backyard is sad to see such an over reach of force. Even if he was fleeing, he sure seemed to be going fairly slow when he saw the cop coming after him at full steam. he practically stops...could the cop not have grabbed him ? I don't think demonizing the cop a right answer, he is out there with his life on the line and one can not know what was going through his head. It's just a sad situation. We really need to try to break away from such force that's alienating good people from law enforcement.

as for the sheep comment...come on do something constructive with your time. why bring negative comments to an already sad situation. there is someone being kept alive by machines thanks to this.

My brother was hit (not by a cop though) and put in a coma a few years back. He looked the same lying in his hospital bed, tubes coming out of his head and everything... He didn't survive. This piece of shit cop in the video deserves worse. I'm sure if I shared all my thoughts right now the FBI would be knocking fairly soon, so I'll digress. Y'all know what I'm thinking, though...

Very sorry to hear about your loss. This cop was completely in the wrong. Because someone ran from the police does not justify the cop's aggression by nearly killing this guy. In the video, the guy isn't even running at the point when the cop slams into him like a fucking freight train! Worst part is, this officer will more than likely get off the hook without any punishment.
