POLL>>>PAUL vs PALIN----2012....who would win the primaries???

0 votes

Ok... just for fun... (as this does not actually change our nation in any significant way...) here are a few questions to mull over.(please post answers below)

1--With the step down of Sarah Palin as governor, who would win in direct Primary battle in 2012 should she decide to make a run for President?

Ron Paul>?
or
Sarah Palin.?

2--Who would win the fundraising challenge ?
Ron Paul.?
or
Sarah Palin>?

3-- who would win the hearts of the old GOP in each state>?
Ron Paul.?
or
Sarah Palin?

While about 99% of DP will of course vote Ron Paul on all 3 ... any comments on the rest of the nations viewpoint?

(will update poll results as they come in)

If this were called the

If this were called the DailyPalin, I think Palin would win. So, I think no matter the results, they're gonna be a little biased. But, I'd still choose Paul :P

The new is the Daily Paul.

Seriously?

Just for fun?

I'd rather this post not bumped an actually relevant news post off of the right-side navigation bar. This really accomplishes nothing, and instills some folks with false hope.

Unless Paul's audit bill goes through, Palin would destroy him in every category except perhaps fundraising. That's how stupid America is.

You mean...

If they have the same amount of time in the media and the electronic vote machines are replaced by real paper ballots ?

hmmm... Dr Paul for sure with a very nice lead.

Palin still in the lead for the money (thanks to the corporations).. But maybe a money bomb of 12millions for Dr Paul instead of 6 :}

I am sure

In 2012 Acorn will be done with the census and running the elections and Obama and his Cazars will have such a grip on this nation that free elections will be a thing of the past. Why have primaries? Lets just have an Election Cazar tell people who they can vote for. Obama never did condemn the elections in Iran because he wants the same kind of elections in the US. He will not trust US citizens to pick what kind of car they want to drive, what kind light bulb they put in their home or what kind of toilet they want to piss in, so why would he trust them with who should lead this nation?

Lets just assume we will still have free elections. I am a die hard Ron Paul supporter and he would be my choice over anyone but I also have to look at reality and who wants it more. I would have to give the edge to Sarah Palin. To win the big election their needs to be a fire in your belly and I just do not think Ron has it. In his younger days maybe, but now I think he is happy in the greater role he has played in educating people. He started the revolution but I do not think he has it in him at this point in his life to really fight to win. Palin is young and fresh and seems to have a lot of fight left in her and truth be told she has a larger internet following. The truth is told in google trends, Obama never peaked above Palin until after he won the election. Trends also shows Paul was way above McCain until the elections were fixed.

1012 is going to be a down and dirty fight and If I had to put money on anyone beating Obama it would be Palin. Not my first choice, but better then anything else the GOP has to offer other then really getting behind Ron Paul.

Palin?? PUH-LEASE -- the only reason she is/was newsworthy

was because no one knew who she was and it was "oh so exciting" to have a woman run for VP. Just an item of curiosity and the brunt of all jokes, a flash in the pan who gives women a bad name if you ask me.

What are you fightin' for?

Then have it be...

Rand Paul.

Rand Paul could beat Palin with two hands tied behind his back, and he'd have the ability to carry the states. Rand Paul has it in him, I'd put him into the ring and forget Palin.

Palin shouldn't even run and Rand Paul.....he shouldn't just run, they GOT TO run so we can finish this....

I really think Ron Paul

I really think Ron Paul would take the nomination. It would be a very interesting battle, but Ron Paul would surely make it. Palin would have the media on her side, however, Paul would have a large, active, and ready grassroots. Paul has the knowledge to obliterate Palin in the debates, but Palin might have the wealthy establishment financial base. Looking at the actually primaries, I think Ron Paul would easily win the Iowa caucus and it would be a first or second place victory in New Hampshire because of the momentum received from the "underdog win" in Iowa. After those victories or close victories, Paul would be boosted forward throughout the rest of races. Palin would not stand a chance. Now the media could completely turn against Paul and not even give him the victory momentum deserved from a win in Iowa. However, it will be interesting to see what happens and I know I am up for the challenge ahead!! Fight on!

It's called Diebold...

What was it after the N.H. that 35% of the exit polling said they voted for the non-war candidate?

Ron Paul....

I wouldn't vote for Palin even if someone put a gun to my torso.

I'd leap up, snap them backwards (with lethal force) and turn the gun the other way then I'd vote for Paul and leave the building.....

Well nothing could make me vote for Palin. Except maybe a planet sized earthquake......Ron Paul is the only one, and I'll get the message out there so the right guy....this guy, wins.

if we could have only had you at the convention in StPaul...

we would have sold 3 more state delegates to sign up to nominate him from the floor....

and..well history would have been a tad different...

(if you at all get a chance.. and RP runs ..PLEASE DO BECOME A DELEGATE... ) be it a state one, or even a national one!!

Agrees....

Next time.....and there will be a next time.....we'll all be there.

With more people in our ranks! I swear half the delegates at the

Washington State convention last year were Ron Paul ones -- at LEAST half!! Problem was the GOP leadership....:-(
