Is this an attempt to force more consumers to use tap water where they don't have a choice over the kind of chemicals they ingest?

Yeah, it says on the bottle how it is filtered/cleaned and usually where the water comes from. For example, the GV Gallons of water at my Wal Mart come from the Fort Worth Munincipal Water supply and they are filtered by Reverse Osmosis. In other words, IT IS TAP WATER without the fluoride!
They also talk at the end of the article how bottled water is regulated like soft drinks and stuff... Isn't that a good thing?

I more or less
only drink bottled water. I do drink the water at restaurants and amusement parks (only the filtered water from the pop machines), but otherwise it is always bottled. My favorite brand is Ice Mountain. I always prefer spring water over filtered tap water because I think it tasks better and contains only natural levels of things.

Followed these developments. I think this is why they figure we're waking up from our stupor. All I drink is reverse osmosis bottled water. Can't install the system.
If they ban bottled water I'm springing for the tap water purifier system.

yeah I specifically buy bottled water that has been purified by reverse osmosis. I check to make sure it is purified that way and thankfully they LABEL!!! If it ceases to exist, there is a local purifier here that can fill jugs for like $.65 or something
